This is a breathtaking space that our family has poured many decades and multiple generations into. We are surrounded by jungle, with a freshwater stream running through the entire property and unobstructed mountain views. If you’re especially sensitive to mosquitos, bugs, geckos, free roaming chickens or other elements to be expected in nature, this might not be the place for you. Waimanalo is a small agricultural town filled with nurseries, horse stables, and a high concentration of Hawaiian homes. It remains mostly undeveloped and authentic, and we aim to keep it that way. Outsiders do not often get the opportunity to stay back here, but we welcome respectful travelers looking for an authentic experience who can appreciate this privilege. While nestled against the mountains, we're just a five minute drive from the beach. We are fifteen minutes from Kailua town, where you'll find several grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. This is a working farm. While we are very hospitable, we are not in the business of hospitality. I am happy to accommodate travelers, but I am not here at your beck and call. If that is the experience you are seeking, I think you would be happier elsewhere. We appreciate all of your bookings, and profits go directly back into farm infrastructure and new fruit trees. The views were amazing, being right next to the mountain. Beautiful wildlife, like chickens. Amenities were nice. It was very quiet and security was top notch! You’re secluded but feel very safe!

Beautiful camp ground. Well maintained, kind welcoming hosts Dave and Lexi. We could have extended weeks. BEST ON THE ISLAND. The camping arena is perfect for kids and RVs, luxury hot shower and chill area. Minimal mosquitos which is lush Thank you for the kindness and sharing your space with us. The Slow Road Family
