Great hosts. They had excellent communication. It was cold out and they had fire started for our arrival. There was firewood, and firestarter all provided too. They helped us transport our gear, but it wasn't a far walk at all.
We are experienced minimalist primitive campers, so this was a luxurious treat. Nice waterproof tent with a queen bed, sheets, pillows and blanket. Outdoor couch, picnic table, dishes, lanterns, firepit, grate, cast iron, kettle, etc. Potty tent was great. They provided us with two water jugs.
You could show up with no gear and virtually no camping experience and be very comfortable.
They did warn us about the potential for bears as everywhere in the area. They said to be more concerned about the cats. We nicknamed the two black cats Bear One and Bear Two. :) They provided great entertainment.
The site is tucked away where it's private and secluded but really easy to get to town. I have Verizon and got cell service here. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you are an experienced camper or not.
My only note would be to add a tarp over seating area for rain/shade. Maybe a little dishwashing/handwash station. It would be easy enough with a water cooler and a bucket. Other than that, it has all the amenities one could hope for and then some. Thanks for a great stay!
