The owners were absolutely on point and accurate with all of their directions that they gave to us. Laura met us at the gate and directed us into where we needed to be and answered all of our questions without any issues. Shortly there after we met Bill who assured us That if we needed anything, he would have it taken care of. After driving nearly 9 hours from Southwest Florida pulling into our campsite and getting some good direction and solid advice was exactly what we needed. Would highly recommend Brooks Lake and I know that I will definitely be back!

Full time Class B work travel
6 m Class B
It was a nice quiet spot 10 min from town. Not a great working bathroom low water pressure in toilets and no dump station which is really a bummer cause that’s a good necessity especially for full time work travelers in a town where there’s not much of those necessities - road could also use some gravel haha but…. Overall though a beautiful view of the lake had a couple nice campfires and given it’s one of the only camp spots in town it’s not bad at all! Very private definitely recommend for people just passing through! They also allowed us to have pets and our two dogs loved the space!

Great Trip with Great Friends
Tent · With pets
This is a beautiful location with absolutely amazing hosts. They were responsive and welcoming from arrival to departure. Our only problem was the humidity, but that's on us for not having an appropriate tent! Make sure you do not have a tent with netting and bring dry wood. Walmart sells it and packets to turn the flames different colors! We created wonderful memories with great friends and our pup loved every moment. Thank you to our wonderful hosts. ❤️

Great place for a family getaway!
Tent · With kids
We brought our 4yo, 7yo, and dog a couple weekends ago, and we all loved it. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The campsite was perfect with beautiful views. And even though it appeared to be a busy weekend for them, our campsite still felt isolated and quiet at all times. We will definitely be back!
