Welcome to our charming 2-acre farm nestled in East Boulder, just minutes from town - near decent walking trails, a bike park, shopping, restaurants. It's a great place to stop and restock on your way to or from the mountains. We’ve got chickens! Fresh eggs available. First come first serve on the spots. Feel free to park anywhere you’d like - it is flattest along the fence by the pond - leveling boards are are stacked up in the field to borrow. Please note there is no access to the pond itself. It’s our neighbor’s property. We've got Tintype Portraits! The host is a Wet Plate Photographer specializing in 1800’s antique metal portraits made of silver. A one-night stay is included in the price of a portrait. Check out: TheTintypeCompany.com THE GOOD: Easy in and out location Most affordable rates in all of Boulder. Fresh eggs!!! Beautiful view of the mountains. Summertime creek on the property. Tintypes! THE BAD: Daytime road noise (pretend ocean waves). Limited shade. Not perfectly flat. Maximum stay of 4 nights. Please be aware that our chickens roam freely during the day. Non-aggressive dogs are welcome but must be leashed if they pose a nuisance or danger to the chickens. The chickens will not run from your dogs and are therefor easy to kill. Please don’t let that happen!!!It’s a nice open field next to the neighbor’s pond. Park anywhere you’d like. It’s most level closest to the pond. Please leave room for folks to come and go from the ramp. Back in, pull through, anything but donuts in the field please. :)

Pond View - Open Field
We stayed two nights in Patrick’s field on our way West. I was concerned about the grass being soggy and the driveway being too muddy to drive our 26ft Airstream on, but it all worked out beautifully. The location can’t be beat, close to Boulder, Denver, hiking and biking. Patrick is a great, responsive host who welcomed us on arrival and replied fast to our questions. As for traffic noise; when cars drive past on the road you can clearly hear them, but at night there was very little traffic and the spot was very quiet. Thanks Patrick!

Patrick was super friendly, had excellent recommendations for the area, and just a very positive communicator! We were grateful for his flexibility in our arrival. Beautiful space, loved that our doggo could be off leash. Even with a full weekend of rain we stayed pretty level and had no problem driving in or out in our 29ft motorhome. Will definitely stay again!

Great Star Gazing
Serene spot by the pond with frogs chirping away. A little road noise during the day, but not too much to handle. Quiet with little light pollution for some great star gazing at night. Level ground closer to the pond, good cell service.

Pond View #3
I really enjoyed staying on Patrick and Brooke’s land. They were very friendly and welcoming and their property is close enough to all the things you’d want to do in Boulder, while remaining private and quiet at night.

Rural feel but close to Boulder
Beautiful spot! Large grassy area that you drive into and camp along the lower fence line. Views over the neighbors pond and the hills beyond. Basically no development in your view. Some road noise from the road that you enter off of, but nothing intrusive. Perfect for visiting Boulder, but staying out on some land for the peace and quiet. Freshest of eggs available, from the resident brood. Friendly, helpful hosts!
