We have recently given the entire cabin a fresh remodel! It’s even more cozy than before complete with new kitchen, vaulted wood beam ceilings, fresh flooring and lots of Pendelton blankets! You will LOVE IT! Been coming to this magical part of the San bernardino mountains since I was a little girl. I learned to ski here when there was an old ski hill and tow ropes! Lots of mountain trails to hit! My Father and Grandfather both spent time here and nothing has changed! We just recently remodeled our little slice of heaven! It is single story with all open beam ceilings, wood floors throughout and hiking right out the door to miles and miles of trails! Stunning sunsets, a cute town with lots of live music. You will fall in Love with Green Valley Lake!Welcome to our rustic get away, where our family gets away in just a short drive! We would love to share our cabin with you and hope you enjoy it and its surroundings as much as we do! The Cabin is 864 sq ft, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen while the 2nd bedroom has 4 twin beds with beautifully handmade log bunkbeds. The living room also has a queen sofa sleeper if needed. The great room is open, roomy and cozy! The cabin is entirely single story with no stairs inside. However there are a few stairs coming up to the front door and also a few short steps to access the home in the rear and is not fenced. Parking is plenty and were one of the few with an easy access parking with a pull through driveway. There is adventure waiting right out the front door within a minute walk you step right into the national forest with whatever fancies you. A wonderful sled Meadow near by! Miles and miles of trails! We are also about a 10 minute walk to the lake and town! Our cabin comes equipped with Wifi and TV equipped to handle all your Netflix and HULU, bluetooth speaker to listen to your cabin tunes, and a good library of movies, reading and games! We hope you enjoy our cabin and get to know GVL and love it as much as we do! There really is no place like it!

The Eagles Nest cabin offers a charming escape with a cozy atmosphere that makes it feel like a true family home, ideal for disconnecting from city life. Most visitors appreciate the thoughtful amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and various games for entertainment, which enhance the overall experience. The cabin's proximity to beautiful hiking trails and a tranquil lake adds to its appeal, providing guests with plenty of opportunities to explore nature. However, communication issues with the host have been a rare concern for some visitors, highlighting the importance of ensuring access information is clear before arrival.

The perfect place to stay with kids
With kids
Eagles nest should be called ANGELS nest. Adorable space with 1 full bed and 2 bunk beds. It has all the commodities needed to disconnect and decompress from the city. You can heard the quietness of the mountain in the back yard. My 8 and 4 year old glamping experience was here. The place was suitable for their house needs such as bathroom, shower, dinning table and comfortable bed. Jody is an amazing host and you can feel this space as a true family home. We can't wait to go back and enjoy the cabin during winter.

Quiet Cozy Cabin
With kids
We had a nice stay @ Jodi’s cabin. So quiet and quant. The boys loved playing the ring toss game in the backyard and with the provided Lego’s and giant sized jenga game. Short drive to the lake too. :)

Perfect Place!
I picked this beautiful cabin based on allllll the great reviews and we were not at all disappointed. This cabin has so much charm and warm energy. You can actually smell the wood which is something I love. It was the perfect place to spend time with my boyfriend and nephew. Made great food, had fun with a warm fire in the fireplace for s'mores (it rained pretty badly the first night so the fire was so welcoming). Just a magical place for all the examples and reasons others listed. Jodi you are the best!! Thank you and your family for sharing your space with everyone.

Engles Nest is such a special place! The cabin was perfectly outfitted, thoughtfully decorated, and so cozy for our weekend getaway. I loved reading about Jodi’s family’s legacy in Green Valley Lake. Nearby trails were so fun to explore! Will be back!

A Basin of Bliss
With pets
It was an absolute pleasure staying here. We were pleasantly surprised at how thoughtful the hosts were from having a grill to cook to a coffee maker and even having seasonings for our food was a delight to see because we hadn’t thought of it while shopping. The lake is only a 5 minute drive and is the most peaceful place to be. You can rent a row boat and get the full experience of being out in the middle of it all and taking in the sights. The woods we hiked were calm and serene, the entire trip was a paradise of pleasure and we felt more connected to nature and ourselves. Thank you Jodi for allowing us to stay here!

Absent & Uncommunicative Host
We didn't recieve the code to the lock box with the key to the cabin, leaving us stranded in the 90+ degree heat for 1.5 hours on my friend's birthday with no cell service. We eventually got access to WiFi from a kind neighbor, but could not reach the host via phone call or email. The voice mailbox for the phone number was full. Finally, another neighbor called the host's husband, who provided us with the info for the lock box. There was no apology or outreach from the host for the duration of our trip. We had to ask strangers for help and fend for ourselves. There were also multiple dead insects in the bathroom once we were actually able to get in to the cabin. The host refused to provide us with a refund and again, has at no point contacted me to apologize or try to make things right. While the cabin itself was nice, I cannot reccommend this rental because of the poor and lacking communication with the host.
