This was such a lovely and easy stay! I had to book last minute and Matthew was super kind and accommodating, and was responsive over text to help us with anything we needed. They even set out a hammock, chairs, and started the fire for us-- small gestures that went a long way! Matthew was also kind enough to give us some suggestions for sunset viewing and star gazing which made our night. We loved staying here and would 100% recommend it!

Very beautiful spot! Would recommend◡̈ The host is friendly and quick to respond. Private camping space while being close to the hosts. Phones were able to receive service. About an hour away from Yosemite. Host provided some wood and chairs which was very generous. Check it out!◡̈

This is a great campsite! It's very pretty, and surrounded by trees - which meant plenty of shade. There's a picnic table and firepit, and a treehouse/playground that kids would love. Though it's close to the road, there aren't very many cars that pass by, and it still felt very quiet and peaceful! I definitely recommend this place.

Disappointing- Not as Advertised

I recently booked this campsite that turned out to be a huge disappointment. The pictures advertised made it look secluded and private, and the description explicitly stated that campfires were allowed. However, upon booking, I was informed there via message with the host that there were 3 acres available for us to use. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at night, only to find the campsite was directly behind the owner's house, with no sign of the promised 3 acres. We were stuck—having arrived late, we had little choice but to stay the night, cold and uncomfortable without the campfire we had planned on. Luckily, we had brought a small propane stove attachment to cook our dinner; otherwise, we would have been completely stranded. It’s baffling that they didn’t give us any heads up about the no campfires policy upon booking, especially since they had advertised it as a feature. There were also no fire restrictions posted for private property or nearby state park grounds, making the lack of a campfire even more frustrating. The next morning, we quickly packed up and left, thankfully finding a first-come, first-serve campsite miles better than this one. What started as a disastrous Labor Day weekend turned into a much better experience once we relocated. This place, however, fell far short of expectations and was not at all what was advertised. I cannot recommend this campsite to anyone looking for privacy, comfort, or accurate listings.

Thank you, Mathew and family.

Simply a lovely piece of land owned by lovely people. My dog and I felt very welcome on their 3 acres of hike-able land. Getting in and out of camp was as easy as pulling out of a drive way. I will likely be back the next time I’m in the area.
