The Savage Oasis is a magical place on its own. Being just 35 mins East of Lancaster really doesn't seem that way. The moon, stars, sunsets and sunrises are indescribable. The OHV trails are endless! You'll have to come see for yourself. Learn more about this land: OHV roads for all dirt toys. Open landscape for any RC car, truck or plane. Drones allowed. peace & quiet
16 ft car · With pets
If you're looking for a getaway to a place of peace and quiet, this is it. The sunset and sunrise were the most amazing views. I'd recommend following the coordinates provided on the trip page as opposed to the address as it might be confusing. This camp site is ideal for campers who enjoy space and have some experience off grid camping. The campsite offers a fire pit, peace, quiet and wonderful views both during the day and night. The site is about 90 minutes from LA and the town is about 20 or so minutes away. We were able to buy wood and last minute groceries at the local dollar general. The dirt road into the campsite doesn't require 4WD and is relatively short, so it's easy to travel through. A tip for campers looking to stop by, it's helpful to have an awning, canopy or a shade covering as the desert provides no shade. My friends and I loved our stay here and will recommend in the future.
