Private, peaceful, wonderful hosts
Group trip
Ron and Bibi were excellent hosts! They made sure that we got to our site safely, and offered us a melon from their farm when we arrived.
The site itself was extremely private and quiet, away from the main road. It sits under walnut trees, and in the distance you can see rows of pear trees. There is a private bathroom with running water, and hookups for electrical and water if you need.
It is a bit dusty so I recommend bringing ground covers. But other than that, the area is clean and clear.
We came on a weekend when the Glass Fire was on full blast and the smoke made outdoor exploration almost impossible. But we did get to explore a little bit on the last day, and got to walk into the grove of pear trees and back to the dry creek bed.
I would LOVE to return on a weekend when the creek has water, because it is a great size for swimming.
I heartily recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, private RV getaway. The added bonus was Bibi & Ron's farm dog named Rummer, who came to visit for snacks and pets.
