Incredible geologically active location that used to be host to a lot of mining. As a result there are large 100ft cliffs covered in crystals and rare gems. Gold mining was what the location was used for but diamonds & platinum have also been found there along with prehistoric fossils and extremely valuable meteorites. The ground is covered with a layer of courts crystal that reflects moonlight. Nights with a clear sky and a full moon will provide enough light to make your way around without a flashlight.

A terrible experience. In fact, so falsely advertised and overpriced that I can confidently say this was a scam. The host didn’t respond to texts or calls so we couldn’t find the site for THREE HOURS, after already driving THREE HOURS to the mountains. The “site” was located down such a dangerously uneven dirt trail that our 4WD was barely getting us by. The road went by countless heaping piles of trash, private property and “keep out” signs, to where it ended (100ft from our site) at a locked gate, trash and an abondoned car. We felt unwelcome and embarrassed, to say the least. Also, the address given to us was just coordinates.

Waterfall Campsite

Loved camping on Vincent’s land! It’s a perfect spot unwind and relax. It’s also great if you wish to feel like a local. So many things to do within miles either way also is near the only store around. He had come to check on me and my kids the first night we got in to late and didn’t feel comfortable traveling down to the site so we pitched out tent up top of the helipad. Thank was awesome that he came to check on us. For sure will be back , I got the best sleep in the world. I really loved the exclusiveness of the site. No jam packed campers it was like a private island of trees 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 will be back for sure!

I believe this campsite is a scam. The directions led to the side of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, leaving us without a place to stay for the night. I tried to call the host's number (7 times) but the number was blocked. I emailed the host and have not yet heard back.

Was not given the correct location before the trip, after hours of driving around and multiple ignored calls from the host, we gave up and found another camp site in the national forest. Not sure the site even exists and really not happy with the level of communication from the host.
