Nice but not a awesome for the $$
Tent
The host was very nice; the original site I booked ( panorama ridge) was not available yet but he gave me a more expensive site (stargazer tent) for the same price. However it's not really worth either price. There is a nice secluded tent but it was very dirty, no broom to sweep with and not glamp style. Just an empty bell tent, very hot inside since it's totally sun exposed both east and west. The picnic table is not really in a great spot either-- they could clear the poison oak under the trees and put either the tent or the table in the shade. Not much of a view or things to do in the spot--I managed to find a small creek entrance down the road for a short refreshing explore, But there were no accessible hiking paths that I could find. Very overgrown and lots of poison oak. The only paths seemed to be trespassing through avocado orchards which I didn't know if they were ok to walk on or not. I guess the other camp sites on the main property have access to a pool, pond and the creek but I was not aware if that was included or not in my booking and didn't know about it until the morning anyways. I could sure hear the kids having fun over there all day and up until midnight though. Kinda ruined the remote feeling of the site TBH. The best part was the large pack of coyotes surrounding us for hours singing their eerie songs back and forth and the screams of a bobcat right around the tent all night. my little dogs were scared but I loved it. Lots of wildlife!

My plan is to go back here, well for the first time. This review is to say how great John was in communicating with me. Unfortunately I had family emergency I had to deal with, so we were unable to make it. Every message I sent him he responded within 10-15 minutes.

Stunning secluded campsite
Tent · With pets
The campsite was so cute and had a beautiful big tree with a nice patio table and comfortable seating around a fire pit! We were able to setup our large (10 person) tent down a little path so it wasn’t right by the fire/gathering area - which was great for letting the kids sleep in in the AM! Beautiful paths to walk around including a creek very close by with a little waterfall - stunning! This suite was lush with lots of greenery and blooming flowers, and was very secluded and had great views! No service at the campsite itself (which we loved).. but only had to walk about 1-2 minutes down the path to access free wifi if needed. Highly recommend - we will certainly be returning as well.

Overpriced for what you get.
Tent
At least at the time we were there 2023-11, the price and what was offered did not match (I think I paid a little more than $100). I found a lot of better camps out there for the same price (or even cheaper). The location is private and secluded.
