Enjoy this beautiful land and gardens in our new geo dome! This dome is nestled in the lush succulent and cacti gardens and has beautiful sunset views. On the property are two large greenhouses that were originally built by Herman Schwartz in the 70s. The greenhouses were abandon for many years and are undergoing restoration, however, they are still magnificent with some cacti being 40-50 years old! Guests are welcome to tour them and the property where there is also a beautiful pond. This property is the perfect peaceful getaway. In the dome, we have floor pads, a space heater, side tables and a lamp. We advise to bring your own bedding. Temperatures do drop so please plan accordingly. Bathrooms with sinks are near the dome. During the week, we have an outdoor preschool on the property so you might see little tables and play areas around the land. The dome is part of 12 acres where they are welcome to explore the gardens, pond and greenhouses. There are two homes on the property where the hosts reside. The dome is fairly big and includes floor mats. Please note, it does not have a mattress or bedding so make sure to bring proper bedding. Nights can get chilly. During the week, this area is used for our forest outdoor preschool where we host 2 and 3 year olds.

Great geo-dome and 🪴s
Great geo-dome on a unique land with lots of botanical sights. Hot shower was a big plus and we were allowed to make a fire though we never ended up doing it. The flexibility was appreciated. Definitely bring blankets and bedding — gets cold.

Unique!
I LOVED this site! The dome is comfortable and unique. There are plenty of areas around the dome to sit and relax but my favorite spot, by far, is the large bed-sized lounge on the West side of the dome, near the very nice outdoor shower. Cuddled up with a blanket and a cup of coffee in the morning and just blissed out! The euphorbias in the greenhouse were very impressive. There are 2 books in the dome all about these plants, so I geeked out a bit reading up on them. There is also a very cool art installation/building filled with old oxygen tanks that you can ring like bells. I was not expecting that!

Group trip
We had a great time staying in the dome! It's a unique experience to sleep in a place like this, and the surrounding area is just as special. The bathroom facilities were sanitary and we loved the outdoor shower. What a cool property!

We really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful land, unique lodging, and friendly host family. At night when everything else is quiet you can even hear the ocean. It’s clear they love this land and have put a lot of their hearts into helping it flourish. Good vibes all around.
