The Land: Outstanding views of the west mountains and San Gorgonio. Within 20 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park and the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve. We offer a peaceful place surrounded by several Joshua trees and natural foliage. Amazing sky filled with stars to see in every direction. The space: You will be at your own private acre equipped with benches, fire pits (wood no provided) and several solar powdered lights. Guest access: The property counts with 2 campsites - A & B, and each guest will be assigned with either one accordingly at the time of the booking confirmation. Other things to note: We encourage our guests to pack in their trash and take it with them, as trash cans are not provided to avoid wild animals on the property and the wind to blow the trash out. Also, please make sure to clip the chain back to the post on the main entrance before you leave to avoid trespassing. A portable toilet is provided to our guests for their convenience.

Site 2 - Caribbean Mojave Escape

No communication from host

The experience didn’t match what was described in the post. We received no contact beforehand, and our message asking for entry details went unanswered. When we arrived, we called to confirm if we were parked in the correct spot—labeled ‘B’ while we had reserved ‘Site 2’—but no one picked up, and we didn’t receive a return call. The site itself was okay, but we were left uncertain if we were even in the right place. We had booked for two nights but chose not to return for the second night.

Site 2 - Caribbean Mojave Escape

Good site, exactly as advertised

Camped for one night by myself. Good views of the night sky and sunrise/sunset, and each of the spots had benches and fire pits with grilling grates. As some other reviews highlight, you can hear distant music from neighbors, but it's not surprising given you are in a somewhat residential area.

Site 1 - Caribbean Mojave Escape

Great site, terrible neighbors

The host was responsive and the site was cute and nicely set up (only complaint there is a trash pile that messes with the view one way) but the house behind the site had a massive party with insanely loud music. I literally had to sleep in the car for a few hours since the music was so loud before waking up with both my legs asleep and dragging myself to the tent at 1 am (I could still hear a bass but not nearly as bad as the live band). I grew up in a city to I’m used to loud music/noises at all times of day but this was another level. I wouldn’t stay here again just at the risk of that happening the next time.

Site 2 - Caribbean Mojave Escape

No Shade bring a canopy

Pros- Beautiful Joshua Trees, Nice table and Perfect fire pit with local store to buy snacks and firewood. Amazing view at night of full moon over the mountains. Cons- No shade bring a canopy, little windy but will pass, dogs barking at night, local neighbors in sight. All in all no real complaints was a great camp experience.

Site 1 - Caribbean Mojave Escape

Would stay again!

Hosts were lovely, brought out additional seating and lighting during our stay. Site was well maintained and had beautiful views of the stars at night. Portable-toilet was recently cleaned.
