Enjoy Redwoods, a crystal clear creek, giant boulders, ferns, blackberries, fruit trees, an outdoor shower, multiple hammocks, a mini zip line and much more! The camp is situated in the Russian River Valley between the jaw dropping Pacific coast, the Russian river for canoeing and tubing and many vineyards and wine tasting. Immerse yourself in California's beauty at this magical glampsite. You can camp where you like on the property including either of the two decks. The first deck is a approx. 11x 9 structure covered with a canvas tent. The second structure is about 12 x 12 enclosed yurt, closer to the creek.Nestled within the Sonoma county between towering redwoods, vineyards, and the Russian River, is a 2.5 acre campsite speckled with fruit trees, ferns, boulders, and the pristine Ward Creek. Situated in Cazadero, a little town consisting of a handful of churches, one general store and a hardware store, this oasis offers escape from city life with convenience around the corner. You will have the entire 2.5 acres to yourselves as we only rent to one group at a time. The structures are not furnished though the yurt has two twin camping cots.

Campfires allowed

Firepit, communal, wood burning fireplace, private. Campfires are conditional as to current weather and current regulations and can change daily as we move thru the summer. A BBQ is on site though you need to bring your own charcoal.

Only dog-friendly dogs allowed as the neighbor's ( super friendly) dogs have occasionally wandered onto our property.

Hot water , cold water only. Water heater must be turned on for hot water. Outdoor shower does not have hot water.

Wifi has occasionally gone out ( 3x in one year) in town which affects the whole area.

Well, there is a mini zip line for kids in the woods. Its small and probably appropriate for ages 6-12.

Perfect Blend of Nature & Comfort

Sonia’s land was the perfect camping experience with just the right amount of amenities. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the creek was amazing, and having hot water and WiFi felt like such a luxury while still being immersed in nature. Our group of six had plenty of space, and everything was well thought out for a comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be back again when the weather warms up!

Camp hoppy was absolutely wonderful, My partner and I visited on Valentine’s Day weekend and were blown away with the views on the property. The trails that lead down to the water are extremely beautiful and very easy/fun to hike. I would recommend camp hoppy to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with family or others and can’t wait to return!

This spot is truly magical! I celebrated my 30th birthday here with my family, and could not have asked for a better spot to camp. The creek is gorgeous and we enjoyed the moonrise view from the fire pit.

Quiet retreat

We really enjoyed camping on Sonia’s land. It was a quiet retreat for us and our friends kids really enjoyed exploring the river. Directions were clear and amenities were nice.

Everything was awesome! it was so nice to have a bathroom for just our group. the creek really is magical. there's plenty of room and we had so much fun just exploring the property! can't wait to come back

Nature wonderland

Can't wait to book our next trip back to Camp Hoppy! Highlights: Beautiful nature views with creek access Firepit (weather permitting), with grills and chairs Indoor bathroom with sink and HOT shower Two large picnic tables, chairs, and two large Tents/yurts Fairly close to the Bay Area - but felt like we were in a remote/secluded campsite with all the amenities we could think of. Host was super responsive with easy check-in instructions.
