When we first saw this land for sale we thought it was 4.8 acres turns out it was 48 acres! Happy campers we became on first sight. It is a great place and a shame not to share. We love being outdoors. We hope you come to enjoy our sunsets and star-y* nights. You may be inclined to sleep outside and enjoy every fresh breath. Bring your bikes, ATVs, fishing poles, hiking boots, horses and dogs. Plenty like to come up and relax with a book. At 4,000 ft the views are never ending and the air is clean. We are located in the middle of the North and Middle forks of the Cosumnes Rivers, amidst the Fairplay Wine Region while historic Placerville is close by.Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature's embrace at our secluded glamping cabin, nestled amidst a landscape that has recently recovered from wildfire. Here, you'll find a haven of peace and rejuvenation, where the scars of the past have given way to a renewed sense of hope and resilience. Our cozy cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing you with all the essentials for a truly unforgettable glamping experience. Relax in the plush embrace of a king-sized bed, adorned with soft linens and fluffy pillows, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Unwind in the inviting living area, where a cozy dinette set awaits, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal or sharing stories with loved ones. Step outside onto the private deck, there is a picnic table which beckons you to soak up the breathtaking scenery, views, city lights and savor the fresh air. As the sun dips below the horizon, prepare to be mesmerized by the celestial spectacle that unfolds above. The clear, dark skies above offer an unparalleled view of the stars, twinkling like a million diamonds against the velvet canvas of the night. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serenity of nature at our glamping cabin. Here, you'll find a sanctuary of peace, where the beauty of the natural world and the warmth of human connection will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.

4000 Feet Closer to Just OK....
Closer to Heaven was just OK. Campsites are spread out, but when booking we were placed right next to the only other group in the camp. The activities are all outside of the camp between 30-40mins drive away. 65$ a night for campsite with no access to sink, kitchen, or a shower is steep. Hopefully the small tough sheds on the property will come with some usable amenities soon.

Bee cautious!
The Log Haven cabin was a great place to stay. It's nice, clean, and we happened to have the entire camp to ourselves so it was awesome but for one thing... The bees! There was 50 to 100 bees at all times (unfortunately not exaggerating). They are all over the place, it's impossible to escape them. We stayed 2 nights and got stung only once, so i guess it isn't too bad. But if you're allergic or something, beware. Another thing is the owner of the land. He showed up on our second day and it looked like he thought we were other campers (people that apparently tried to cancel on them or something) and i guess wanted to argue over this. Then once it was established we weren't those people, he talked in detail about his love to kill animals with his bow which made us uncomfortable and feel a bit unsafe. Overall we still recommend the cabin as it's a beautiful place and close to some really nice swimming spots.

This is a good spot to camp. The bathroom is nice. The camping sites are generally flat. The ones near the bathroom are relatively close together and might be loud if the place is crowded. Sites 7 and 8 are farther away from people.

Serenity
Thanks for such a serene “home away from home”! We absolutely loved the dog house and we’d definitely come back again when the weather conditions clear up from the forest fires. So much wildlife to see around the area.

Wine country camping
Great spot. One of the cleanest camp toilets I’ve ever seen, each site has a lot of space, the area is beautiful. Lots to do nearby. Our group went wine tasting, Saluti down the road is exceptional. We hope to be back soon!

Ok
It was good but not as good as other hip camps I have visited. There were lots of yellow jackets but no traps. The toilet too had lots of bugs and yellow jackets inside. Had a neighbor camper who had couple of dogs left unattended - the were barking all day long. Not a very pleasant experience but the place was alright.
