Quiet laid back horse farm that features nature trails through woods, a pond to fish and a creek to explore. Horses dot the landscape to add a serene calming atmosphere. Two camp sites that are adjacent to a 3 acre pond. Fishing for bream and catfish is available. Wild life grace the property including deer, turkey, hawks, herons, egrets, snakes , raccoon, armadillo, fox, squirrels and possums. Located 20 minutes from downtown historic Montgomery, Alabama the birthplace of the civil war and civil rights movement. The Legacy Museum, Old Alabama Town, Zelda and F Scot Fitzgerald Museum, Riverwalk Stadium Home of the Biscuits, Riverboat rides and Hank Williams gravesite. Numerous restaurants with a variety of cuisines. Minutes away from Safari Park.

Peaceful and quiet

Great location overall! There’s a pond for fishing, flat area for kids to run around and play sports, and we also got to pet the horses. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it. There is a half bathroom that you can use.

Great spot for boondocking. Fishing in pond was a blast. Caught big bass. Grandkids had fun with horses. Very relaxing. Owners are great.

Wonderful place close to Montgomery

Wonderful site by the pond with nice flat ground and a picnic table. There’s a nice clean toilet in the nearby stable. The host was great and never bothered us. The following morning he gave us sliced apples to feed the retired horses. At the time of the booking the two contact phone numbers were wrong. The first one belonged to the former owner. However the current owners did a good job of messaging us.

Site 1 Next to the pond.

I board horses at this location. Setup camper at this site for a weekend. Had a blast fishing and horse riding with my grandkids. Great fishing. I plan to do it again. Nice campsite for boondocking.

Absolutely incredible!

A piece of heaven! Marianne’s campsite and generosity were far beyond any expectations we had. I can’t recommend this place enough. We felt so safe, the beauty and peacefulness of the land was extraordinary and Marianne exuded such warmth and care. It was the softest landing one could want.

Grounded and delightful

Marianne’s place is idyllic. We were greeted and welcomed heartily and had our privacy as well. The site near the pond offered views of the horses in the field as well as the herons on the water. Frogs provided a bedtime serenade. It was easy to let go of any concerns and relax into the beauty.
