P2 Creekbend
I recently camped at Parksland Retreat over Thanksgiving and had an incredible experience overall. The camping area we stayed at was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the creek, which added so much to the peaceful atmosphere.
A heads-up for winter campers: it gets very cold, so be sure to layer up and bring warm gear. Also, keep in mind that the campsite requires a bit of a hike to reach, and it’s a challenging one, especially if you’re carrying a lot of gear. The setup process took us quite a while because we had to make multiple trips back and forth. I highly recommend packing as lightly and efficiently as possible to make the process easier.
We enjoyed about two nights with no other campers around, making it wonderfully private and serene. Even when other campers came, it was still private. If you’re looking for a beautiful, secluded spot to truly immerse yourself in nature (and you’re up for a bit of a trek), Parksland Retreat is definitely worth a visit!

This place is exactly as described. Very nice owner. The campsite was private and not too difficult to get to. We did this with two 3 year olds and they had a blast.

We really enjoyed the P2 primitive camping site. Lovely scenery, just the right amount of seclusion, and easy access to potable water. We will be back!

P2 Creekbend
We loved our stay! Everyone was very welcoming and the site was beautiful! There was a wonderful hiking trail that my dog loved. P2 was a bit of a walk but definitely worth it. The view of the creek and rock wall from the site was stunning! The hosts were very informative and friendly
