Want to be close to Long Beach Island (LBI) without the crowds? You've found the place! Our lot is 1.22 acres only several miles away from LBI, New Jersey. The owner-occupied residence is tucked away from the road with only one neighbor in sight. We live in a 1987 geodesic dome home on the property. Enjoy our large, fenced backyard with plenty of room for activities. We have yard games available (Yard Yahtzee, Spikeball, Molkky, lawn darts, and more) and you're welcome to bring them to the beach. Crab traps, fishing poles, and a cooler are available too. Feel free to start a campfire in the designated area or relax in the two hammocks. We promise you'll never be bored here! About

Island Beach State Park beckons with its pristine beaches and vibrant natural habitats. Here, adventure awaits as you surf the Atlantic waves, fish for the catch of the day, or kayak through serene bays. Witness the park's diverse wildlife, from majestic ospreys to delicate piping plovers, as you traverse its lush trails. When to go

The best time to visit Island Beach State Park is during the summer months when lifeguards are on duty and the full array of park amenities are available. However, for those seeking solitude and a chance to connect with nature, the off-season offers a peaceful retreat. Avoid visiting during construction periods or when advisories are in place for a seamless experience.

  • Swimming is only permitted in designated areas when lifeguards are on duty, typically from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.
  • Beach wheelchairs are available for those with disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the park's natural beauty.
  • Remember to register for the NJ Saltwater Recreational Registry Program if you plan to fish.
  • Adhere to the park's rules, including no smoking, alcohol, or fires in undesignated areas.
