It covers 160,300 acres and features 2,300 miles of breathtaking shoreline. This lake is well known for boating and fishing for large and small mouth bass, bluegill, white bass, catfish, and many more. The community is gated and has a boat launch and dock. A boat storage is available and included in your stay. You can fish, kayak, or stand up paddle board right from your private site or take a short walk to the community water access area. The views are breathtaking. Several of our sites are located on a 4 mile long private tree lined calm cove that connects directly to the lake. Open all year long to cater to summer enthusiasts OR those who want a more temperate climate for the winter months. Accepting short term/long term rentals. Rates shown are DAILY rates. Our community sits on the stretch of the Tennessee River called the Kentucky Lake. The Kentucky Lake is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi river. It covers 160,300 acres and features 2,300 miles of breathtaking shoreline. Bring your boat and use our private community boat ramp. You can stop at the marinas located nearby for food and live music. If you don’t have a boat, you can rent one nearby. Kentucky Lake is a boaters dream with its clean water and beautiful scenery. Boat storage is included in your stay. Additionally, some of the best freshwater fishing in the Country can be experienced in the Kentucky Lake and is known for excellent fishing for large and small mouth bass, bluegill, white bass, catfish, and many more. You can fish directly from your site on most waterfront sites or use our dock. If you like to kayak, you will enjoy the tree-lined, calm, four mile long cove in our community. You can directly access the cove from your site when you stay on a “cove site.” We are open year-round. We offer nightly, weekly, and long term stays on all our sites. This is in Lewis county - of the Lewis and Clark adventurers. The Buffalo River is a class 1 and sometimes 2 river perfect for kayaking. Ask about add on options like a tour and story about the camp and animals or even a pottery lesson or art workshop.

We are 3 minutes from clean, clear, swimmable, boatable and fishable Cedar Creek Lake. BCDA permit is required for use of the lake. ($8.50/daily $12.50/3day) We are located only minutes from many breathtaking waterfalls, caves, hiking trails and an array of creeks and rivers for kayaking or canoeing. Cane Creek Nature Preserve is located 10 minutes away and Bankhead National Forest is 45 minutes. Rattlesnake Saloon is a short 10 minute drive away! You could eat and enjoy a beer inside a really cool cave! If you’re looking for a quiet, safe spot with plenty of nature, bird watching, and peaceful views, this is the perfect spot for you! From RV and walk-up camping to houseboating, J.P Coleman State Park is like the Disneyworld of the South for water enthusiasts. The massive Pickwick Lake offers 47,500 acres of freshwater for fishing (Mississippi State license required), sailing, water skiing and anything else you can think of to do on the water. Set in an area rich with history, J.P Coleman is close to a barrage of Civil War memorabilia including the Shiloh Civil War Battlefield and Historic Homes and Civil War Sites.
