Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Hello! Thank you for looking at our listing! You will not be disappointed in this small campground with only 4 primitive tent sites and 2 tiny cabins. It's so peaceful and the tranquility will not take long to make you so relaxed, you will not want to leave. The sound of song birds in the morning with your cup of coffee is exactly what we need along with the sound of the water from the creek and/or pond. You can plug in with our free WIFI or unplug and enjoy the surroundings. Sebec Lake is a 5 minute walk from the campground and there are pontoon rentals at the bottom of the hill. There is a yoga instructor on the lake that will do paddle board yoga in groups of at least 5. We offer several board games, as well as outdoor games. We have been working on creating a playground for the young kids. There is 1 Kayak for rent here and working on more. We offer hammocks for use and have already put the hangers in the trees. We recently added hot showers and flushing toilets (although we still keep some portable potties around in case the bathroom is occupied).

Soul Retrieve Hill offers a camping experience that combines comfort with nature. Guests consistently highlight the well-maintained community areas, including a fully stocked kitchen and clean, heated bathrooms. The site's tranquility, combined with responsive and caring hosts, makes it a favorite for those seeking a peaceful retreat. However, occasional noise disturbances, like a barking dog, have been noted but don't seem to detract from the overall positive experience.

Great spot for cold weather camping
Tent · Group trip ·
We loved camping at the Robin site! The heated bathrooms and shared kitchen kept us super warm for the cold night we were there. Stargazing was great. Amenities were above and beyond what we expected (all the cookware we needed, fire starters for purchase, super clean facilities)

A Frame of Mind
This place has a magical fairy and elf kind of earth spirit energy to it. I felt very connected to those earth elements on the land! The A Frame cabin is tiny and adorable and the mini wood stove made it cozy, warm and tranquil. I enjoyed some local hikes and the bakery at the bottom of the hill sold me a warm loaf of bread fresh out of the oven. If you're looking for a unique camping experience in a tent or small cabin, this is the place to go!

Quiet. Great for Teleworking
I spent three days here a as a place to telework, during a cross-country drive. The accommodations at Soul Retrieve were outstanding for my purposes. Where do I start? Wifi was strong and consistent (it appears they have fiber internet), I had zero issues with any of my work-video calls. I never needed cell service due to the wifi coverage. Real toilets and hot shower in a heated bathroom. The "common area kitchen" was extremely helpful. Every dish you could possibly need; sink, potable water, microwave, stove, oven, EVEN a fridge which you could use space in either the fridge or freezer! Once you're ready to eat, you can either eat on the table in the kitchen (while letting laptop recharge on wall power), or, on the table in the outdoor common area (again, wall power is available.) The overall site is QUIET. If you need a short getaway, somewhere to just be alone and quiet, yet, have the essential amenities for your day-to-day, this will be a good place. Sheryl is very responsive and patient. I arrived late and, in my tiredness, followed my GPS instead of the instructions; ultimately driving right past the campground (which, at night, appears like a few cabins near each other), and ended all the way up at the house. If you get to the house, you too, have gone too far! Go back down. Exactly per Sheryl's instructions, as you drive up the gravel drive, look for the "hipcamp" sign on the left, after which, you have arrived.

Nice quiet spot surrounded by trees on a private drive. We tent camped and the indoor showers/kitchen were a nice bonus.

Stayed here a few times and never disappoints. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans and other usefull tools. The bathroom is lovely and clean. Just a great place to hang out for a weekend outdoors. Also, the french bakery right down the road is delicious!

The best of fine camping
This was our first Hipcamp stay and it was so wonderful. The site was beautiful and it is so obvious Sheryl puts so much care into it. We were revisiting Sebec Lake Village for the first time since I used to come as a child when my dad was a guest preacher at the church. This camp site could make it a destination place for me again.
