Hike along easy to moderate trails to explore thick forests and the history of the area. Glidewell Trail, a moderate 4.5-mile hike, takes you past a 2,000-year-old Native American mound.
Keep an eye out for Ordovician fossils throughout the recreation area. You might see a fossil that's 450 million years old. They are from when this part of Indiana was an inland sea.
Select from more than 400 campsites near the lake. There are 62 campsites with full hook-ups and another 388 with electricity.
