Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous, family-owned guest ranch in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. Our ranch is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and is nestled in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area features hiking trails, waterfalls, and historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch. We have a private hiking trail that leads to our “kissing swing” overlooking the headwaters of the Colorado River Valley.

Arapaho Valley Ranch offers a diverse experience with its beautiful location and a range of accommodations from traditional camping to glamping. Most visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and stunning natural surroundings, with activities like hiking and water sports being popular. However, some campers expressed concerns over the condition of certain sites and the lack of amenities for tent campers, noting that the services catered more to glampers. Potential visitors should be aware of the mixed-use nature of the site and its remote location, which may impact accessibility and availability of facilities.
Had a wonderful time here with my family celebrating my dad's 70th bday! Comfy and warm cabin with everything we needed for a comfy stay, despite the cold weather in November! Easy to find and communicate with the host. Highly recommend!
Overall, the stay and surroundings were incredible! Two curious foxes visited us in the evening and were delightful. Check-in directions were straightforward and accurate. The views leading up to the camp were unmatched! We crossed the berm dam and drove along the reservoir with a 2WD camper van in good weather, and we had to be very conscientious drivers. We highly suggest you eat at Fitch Ranch Meats and Market.
Great location, walking distance to Monarch Lake, great camp site with an old chimney on it. Staff was friendly and the grounds were really nice. Was greeted by a moose on the first morning!
We enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Although there were some problems with the internetsite and so we choose the wrong place for our RV
Personeel was very friendly and the quietness and nice trails were great. The road to the ranch was very bad especially for an RV
