Under the care of third generation steward, Lisa Betz-Marquez, the beautiful bluffs feature a stunning backdrop to a those seeking a private and peaceful experience, birding, wildlife-spotting, or an adventure-seeking hike.
Rustic Tent sites (allowing cars, vans, rooftop tents, truck campers, and motorcycles, but not RVs or pull-behind trailers) are located directly on the prairie.
The prairie is a fragile environment. To preserve its beauty and health, trailers and RVs must book the RV sites. We appreciate your cooperation.
RV sites 50 amp electricity and a rustic experience on crushed concrete near our corral. You'll have foot access just steps from the prairie.
All sites share access to delicious potable water, a clean porta potty, and a funky outdoor camp shower (with unheated water), as well as private foot access to hiking at various levels of challenge to the south side of our nation's Scotts Bluff National Monument.
A small group of yearling cattle are at home on the prairie in summer months, and may share you the prairie tent area with campers in the months of May and June.

Lisa is the fourth generation of her family to live on Valley View Farm, located directly south of the prairie. Her family has been steward of these lands since 1925. This was a great quiet little campground. We had some issues with the camper the first night but it was nothing major and the host was so accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this place and the rental of the camper on site to friends.

The campsite was great! Full hookups and very nice hosts. Clean and safe site. Able to walk to restaurants easily, trading post has groceries, fishing/camp supplies and laundry.. Lake very close by. Great location. We were just driving through but would stay here again for a longer time if we come this way again.

If in Nebraska this isthe place!!! The site was huge, views of Scottsbluff were impeccable—it was so much better than I anticipated (and as a solo/female traveler I felt 100% safe. It was great to have a shower (cold but perfect in hot weather). Lisa, thanks again for being such a great steward to the land and animals that live on it.

We loved camping at this spot. The area is very scenic among the trees, rolling hills and wildlife. We observed antelope, deer, and wild turkey. Even though it is close to their home our space felt private. The full hook up was much appreciated. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place to others looking to camp in the area.

LOVED camping at this spot! Great view at Scott's bluffs and great opportunity to hike right next to them with trails.
Lisa was very nice and welcoming with everything! She showed us where we were staying and was very friendly!
With it being dry there was a fire ban, but we were fine with as it was all ready so warm! Shower was great after a hot morning hike and was very cute with how it was repurposed. We will definitely have to check out this place again!
