Property is 25 minutes from Richland Center. 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Public land with miles of trout stream 3 miles away from the propertyy. Rocky bluffs surround open pasture dotted with beautiful Oak trees, with a pristine spring-fed stream winding through the property. Our Tent sits above the ground on a wood platform, and looks over a private area complete with a fire ring and picnic table, just steps from a spring bursting from a hillside next to the creek, which you have access to dip your toes in or look for frogs. Leave your car in sight and walk your items down a mowed path with the assistance of a hand-cart. Watch the stars at night, listen to the frogs sing, the coyotes howl and the whip-or-will sing. We are a homestead farm, with a small flock of chickens and ducks. We live on the property with our 4 kids and two dogs. We are restoring the land we live on, adding prairie and managing the fields and pasture while raising strong resilient kids. We'd love to meet you, or let you stay in solitude and peace. Nested along the Pecatonica River, Pink River Ranch boasts some lovely pink sunsets, quiet nights, chorus frogs chirping and some of the creature comforts you expect. Our ranch is home to sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. We're animal lovers and we hope you are too! We have a shared restroom for our guests. This space is jointly used between the guests who stay in our vintage airstream, camping wagon as well as our two tent sites. It features a shower, tub and relief facilities. We also have an outdoor shower if you're feeling adventurous! Potable water is available on-site but must be hauled into your campsite. Campsites are furnished with a small camp grill, fire ring and picnic table. All tent sites are accessible by foot only. We have a parking lot for you to keep your vehicle and wagons for use to get items to your site. Each site is no further than a one minute walk, two minutes if you're hauling a wagon. We sell firewood and charcoal for your grilling adventures (cash or Venmo only). We also sell lamb meat raised on our ranch if you'd like a fully immersive grilling experience. You can purchase meat prior to your stay and we'll have it ready for you. Place your order at www.pinkriverranch.com and select 'hospitality guest' at checkout. We have small fishing poles available for your use, we just ask you use them on our property and do not remove them for fishing in other local spots. Worms for bait can be purchased in town. Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm

CAMPSITE IS LOCATED IN THE ORCHARD. Please do not enter the main farm driveway. If you are not looking at Apple trees you are in the wrong place. Pets need to be on a leash and cleaned up after. Please do not leave them out of the orchard. My grandfather purchased the property and everything you can see 360° around you in 1953. The orchard was started in 1962 and the large trees date back to that time and still produce apples. My dad took over in 1985 and it has been part of my life ever since. After my dads passing in 2017 the property fell to me. At it's peak there were 85 trees that produced 500 bushels of apples per season. All hand pruned, sprayed and picked. We sold them 5 days a week at local farmers markets. Currently, about two dozen trees are maintained, the rest feed the local wildlife. An orchard is a year round commitment. Enjoy your stay. ~Dale This is a small working family orchard. Sites are rustic. RV and trailers can park on grass or the driveway. Tents ⛺ can set up on the grass. Sites are not marked. HipCamp requires that I list them separately for reservation purposes. The location is not busy. Maybe one or two reservations a weekend in the summer. Pick a spot you are comfortable & enjoy your stay. One picnic table on site. One fire pit. Minutes from the Rock River for paddling and fishing. No bathroom on site. No water onsite. No onsite camp host. My Uncle is your neighbor, so I will hear about any mischief you might get into.
