CAMPSITE IS LOCATED IN THE ORCHARD. Please do not enter the main farm driveway. If you are not looking at Apple trees you are in the wrong place. Pets need to be on a leash and cleaned up after. Please do not leave them out of the orchard. My grandfather purchased the property and everything you can see 360° around you in 1953. The orchard was started in 1962 and the large trees date back to that time and still produce apples. My dad took over in 1985 and it has been part of my life ever since. After my dads passing in 2017 the property fell to me. At it's peak there were 85 trees that produced 500 bushels of apples per season. All hand pruned, sprayed and picked. We sold them 5 days a week at local farmers markets. Currently, about two dozen trees are maintained, the rest feed the local wildlife. An orchard is a year round commitment. Enjoy your stay. ~Dale This is a small working family orchard. Sites are rustic. RV and trailers can park on grass or the driveway. Tents ⛺ can set up on the grass. Sites are not marked. HipCamp requires that I list them separately for reservation purposes. The location is not busy. Maybe one or two reservations a weekend in the summer. Pick a spot you are comfortable & enjoy your stay. One picnic table on site. One fire pit. Minutes from the Rock River for paddling and fishing. No bathroom on site. No water onsite. No onsite camp host. My Uncle is your neighbor, so I will hear about any mischief you might get into.

Site 1 - Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm
Just an easy private place to park for the night. The host makes a comment in the ad about how their uncle is always watching. That was a bit creepy but we felt safe and just needed a place to park and sleep.

Not private but great views.
We weren't sure where our site was when we arrived so it was just confusing as to where we were to go.

Site 1 - Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm
I was the only camper there, so it was nice and quiet. I chose to set up my tent near the picnic table and fire ring so I was not in the shade but I wanted to be able to see the stars at night. It worked out great, I left the rain fly off and the view was terrific, I even saw a shooting star! I brought my 2 cats with me and we had fun exploring around the orchard, catching leopard frogs! No amenities, but not a problem, brought my own water and toilet bucket for the tent. The Rock River is nearby, saw lots of water birds- Great Blue Herons, White Egrets. Might go kayaking another time.

Lovely orchard
Nice site but close to road. I just felt a bit exposed to the road and building nearby.

Peace and Wuiet
A very quiet, peaceful and secluded camping experience! But also a short commute to area attractions. Make sure to bring bug spray and citronella candles. The night sky is perfect for stargazing or using your telescope. If you need to fill your potable water, the Milwaukee Fairgrounds has easy access but make sure to call in advance. The campsites are right off the entrance and a bit confusing at first. If you arrive after dark .... it is pitch black. I recommend arriving before! The owner is very nice if you are lucky enough to meet him.
