Aasen Family Farm Pond

Once owned by my husband's grandfather who built a house near a natural spring. We now have built a home on this property and offer beautiful water views with campsite hook ups. Campfires, Swimming and fishing without the need of a licence.  Enjoy the Tremp County bike trails and their scenic views. Be sure to check out their website. Our campsites are located next to our beautiful home. Enjoy the views of our ponds. You share our yard, we have 4 dogs who share the area.  The sunsets are incredible and the sounds of frogs at night are dreamy.

Great for the kids. We have 3 tents this size that can be set up for additional cost.

We have always loved camping so when we purchased our place 12 years ago we set out to make this a place to come and get inspired to grow . We have added a small Garden Shop to the property and my husband loves to play music around the campfire so we decided to share the love by offering camping and fishing on our Property . You can be sure that this quiet area will be just what your looking for if you want to camp in the country and enjoy a bit of the farm Style Living . We invite you to collect the eggs from the coop and enjoy the fresh flavors of the season. Pickles,Jams jellies,Corn you name it we can Pit it Up Fresh at Gathering Gardens . Even trout!Book a time to come in the spring and work in the garden plating peas and tatters. Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat

Four years ago, David and Veronica began designing and building structures in the 20 acre hardwood forest that Davids' father acquired back in 1969. Now they live there full time in an off-grid cabin with monthly seminars, campsites for rent and a passion for sharing the wonders of the forest.

This is Maggie's Mirror that runs through the property. It is in flood stage. Picture was taken before Spring turned everything green. It also shows a cable bridge that my son and I built that crosses Maggie's Mirror to the stairway down to the Chippewa.

Maggies Merry Mirror

Rural property that once was a combination of a dairy farm and commercial woodland. It is rare in that it has a 40 acre field, a 5 acre island, a year round creek and over 2,000 feet of river frontage and nearly 40 acres of woods.

There are over 80 acres of woods, fields and an island to explore. The property has over 2,000 feet of frontage on the Chippewa River. There is also a year around creek that flows through the property to the river. Currently there are three separate sites that are suitable for camping on the bank of the Chippewa. Each site is primitive and has lots of privacy. There are five trails that go through the woods as well as follow the bank of the river. There is a stairway that descends to the river. The river at this point is rather pristine. There are no houses on the camping side of the river and just a few on the opposite side. The river along the property is great for wading, swimming, canoeing/kayaking and fishing. There are over a dozen lakes within a 20 mile radius of the property. Less than 3 miles from the property there are snowmobile and four wheeling trails that connect to trails that extend over 300 miles. The property is less than 15 miles from the headquarters of the Ice Age Trail that stretches from near Superior to near Madison, Wisconsin.

This is another bridge that crosses the creek. Just above the bridge I am constructing a dam to form a fishing pond on the property.
