We recommend renting one of our golf carts to explore the many miles of backcountry mountain roads with ,it is the best way to get out and sightsee and explore the area during your stay , we do offer these adventures separately to anyone looking to take a ride not just our guest. Or you could bring your own atv and pay a $30 day riding fee , ride as much as you want. Message us to schedule a ride. This cabin is very remote and private. It offers beautiful scenery, an amazing deck view of the mountain side ,Wi-Fi, a 4 person hot tub, modern kitchen and bath, very comfortable couch and love seat, a queen sized bed, Wi-Fi and 60inch smart tv located in the living room above the fire place and one in the bedroom. we also offer other spacious and modern cabins and primitive tent camping sites. We are pet friendly $25 per night per pet you can pay those upon arrival Check in is at 2pm and check out is 11am We rent to everyone looking to enjoy some time in these beautiful mountains not just riders. The property itself was first settled by a man named Mayford Jones, who set the first stones here around 1910. A Jenny Lynn style farmhouse was built and the property was known as one of the best developed farms in the area. Today, the forest has returned to what was once pasture land on the majority of the 100 acre plot, and a small but intensive sustainable forest farm has been taking shape since 2013 under the current host and occupant, who prefers the term "steward" rather than "owner".

All there for great hiking and hunting - directly accessible from the property! Feel free to wander straight up the hill from the parking area and once you’ve passed the yellow marked trees, you’re in the state forest! If you’re looking to enjoy the beauties of the region and not be too far from everything it has to offer, Feather Ridge is your spot! You don’t have to drive miles into the woods to find it - S.R. 278 is the direct access point to our property providing convenient and quick access to parks and any amenities you may need. Our aim is for EVERY camper to enjoy this property as much as we have.
