Be sure to get a Makah Recreational Use Permit for your vehicle. From this area, it’s easy to access the hiking trails and beaches on Cape Flattery. Nearby, Olympic National Park offers tent and RV camping sites with picnic tables. Camp year-round at Ozette, which offers lake and ocean access. At Klahowya Campground, pitch your tent in a rainforest. Nearby, you can go fishing and tubing on the Sol Duc River. Campsites near Neah Bay put you close to the action. Spot eagles and osprey at Clallam Bay, or try sport fishing from town. For the best sunset views, hike Shi Shi Beach and Point of Arches. With a permit, you can even camp in the wilderness.
