Cabins near Neah Bay

Retire to a cozy Neah Bay cabin after a day of fishing or archaeological exploration.

94% (1484 reviews)

On the northeast tip of Washington's Olympic Peninsula, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from British Columbia, Neah Bay has long been a popular spot for sports fishing, with many local outfitters offering fishing charters. It's also a great place to go hiking, though one of the biggest draws in the area is arguably the Ozette Archaeological Site, full of preserved wooden longhouses that were buried under a mudslide (as such, the site is sometimes likened to Pompeii). The Makah Tribe operates a cabin resort right by the bay, and there are a few cabins for rent in nearby Olympic National Park. However, if you want something that feels less like a resort and more like a cozy cabin in the woods—perhaps with wifi, a full kitchen, and a wood stove—you're best off seeking out a private cabin rental instead, either in the forest or overlooking the Salish Sea.
