Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm only 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center. I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now located on Whidbey Island). We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go! SUMMER UPDATES: Hello Hipcampers! Some of our trees are starting to fruit so feel free to help yourself, we can’t keep up eating it all! There is a ton of blackberries starting to ripen too in the fields, the peach tree and some plum trees scattered around, waiting on the apples and pears. If you can identify it, you can eat it. :) We also added several fun group activity games to the farm so don’t be shy, please feel free to use the volleyball/badminton net/equipment and cornhole boards. You are also welcome to use the gym in the yurt whether it be for early morning yoga session on the mats or punching it out on one of our punching bags (included in base price, not an add-on). -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt as an add-on. -You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast. Just let us know ahead of time and we can have it ready for you the next morning. -Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup. Tahuya Adventure Resort

21 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents38 acres · Belfair, WA
3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in. It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy! We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family. Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games. Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen. We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."

Secluded Olympic Cabin ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)

1 site · Lodging2 acres · Brinnon, WA
Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.

Feel free to bring your toys and you can drive right off the property. You will be staying in a rural area next to horses, goats, pigs, chickens. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.
