We are slowly converting our beloved multi-generational family home into a sustainable organic permaculture farm with an edible food forest.  We are replenishing the forest with wild edible native plant and herbs, planting hugelkultur organic permaculture gardens and preparing the land for future farm animals. Your stay with us is helping us nurture the land and nourish our family & community!Escape to the great outdoors. The Cedar Cabin at the Forest Farmstead is a simple sleeping space with queen bed, luxurious bedding, kitchenette and space heater with cedar-lined walls located by a cedar forest surrounded by ferns. Property hosts permaculture veggie gardens, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and dairy goats. With a water view from the private, fenced yard the front of the property, the property includes a peaceful pond with gazebo in the back. Coffee machine + electric kettle + mini fridge + hot plate + toaster provided, as well as a private parking space. A rustic, campground-style hot shower and restroom are available for guests 10ft away in the cedar forest. Walking distance (literally 2 blocks) to the beach & Kitsap Memorial State Park, 2 mi south of Hood Canal bridge.  Explore the forest, which we are restoring & planting with wild native edible forest plants & herbs, or pitch in to help create create our hugelkultur permaculture garden beds if you want to be a part of the experience. Cozy & Cute
This was the sweetest little cabin on a cute, quiet farm! It was really peaceful to come home to after spending all day exploring Olympic National Park. The cabin/kitchen area was well-stocked, making cooking and cleaning up super easy. It was also super easy using the outdoor shower. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cute Tiny Cabin in the Woods
What a cute, thoughtfully decorated little cabin! It had everything we needed. The outside toilet and shower area were super clean, and even fun to use (believe it or not). The location was perfect for us because we went to Kitsap peninsula to do the Cascade Cycle Club’s sponsored ride. Beautiful fall colors and perfect, refreshing temperatures. Brittney was super friendly and gave us apples and purple potatoes to take home. We highly recommend this place to future Hipcampers.

Sweet and Cozy Farmstead Stay
The Tiny House is nestled into the corner of Brittney's property - with a cozy nook that includes a fire pit, outdoor chairs and a hammock. The house itself is beautiful and very well crafted, homey touches of fresh flowers and farm fresh goodies were there when we arrived. Brittney is very sweet host and made sure we had everything we needed- she is very knowledgable about permaculture and is passionate about regenerative living. We had the opportunity to milk goats and gather eggs from the chickens- a wonderful experience for anyone who is interested in small scale farming and regenerative community.

The cabin is fantastic with a hint of cedar smell. The well water that comes from the tap at the tap was very good. Only inconvenience is going to the main house for the restroom (which is shared, but also clearly communicated on the listing).

Restful sanctuary
This tiny cabin is the perfect place to get away for a weekend, rest and unplug. My wife and I slept 12 hours a night on the comfortable mattress, and we loved how quiet it was. The winter was a great time to visit, but Brittany has lots of plans for her micro farm that would be fun to visit in the summer. Highly recommended.
