A Taste of Whidbey

Take a break from the city and connect with nature by staying at our magical farm property located on the very south end of Whidbey Island, WA (12 minutes from the Clinton ferry dock). You can enjoy such activities as swinging in one of the many hammocks, getting goldfish pedicures, feeding some of the sweet animals, singing with the parrot, doing goat yoga or goagility (don't bother Googling it because it doesn't exist anywhere else), picking fresh fruits and vegetables for dinner you can prepare in our outdoor cabana kitchen, eating s'mores at one of the many firepits, visiting the beautiful flower gardens or simply enjoying the peace and quiet.
Wildlife galore including bald and golden eagles, red tail hawks, deer, raccoons, heron and coyotes.
Some nights, we have live music in the evening by one of South Whidbey's amazing bands and beer flowing from the taps built into the wall of the cabana.
It is just me and an occasional worker operating the property so you may see us weeding, milking goats, feeding farm animals, or watering some of the many gardens. You are encouraged to participate in activities on the farm and children are welcome to do the same.
We are 5 minutes from Bailey's Corner Store, Whidbey's best burger joint, which has great music various nights of the week, and Ogres Brewery which also has great entertainment and beer. Langley and Freeland are each 20 minutes away.

Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation
The nearest towns are Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., and Sequim where you’ll find restaurants, wineries, and more.
The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails.

Maximum 13 night stay, no long term rental space available. Dogs welcome on leash or fenced at all times. Includes use of communal area to cook, outdoor washup sink, and access to fire pit with wood and fire starters available. We are a strictly non smoking site, except inside your rig.
Glamping tent in the forest is 16 x 24 ft, with pillow top queen bed, kitchenette with refrigerator/microwave/drinking water/dishes, comfy seating and 8 foot covered deck. Access to full bathroom, cooking facility, communal fire pit, BBQ, Wi-Fi available, full electrical power in tent, woodstove in tent with wood provided. Not suitable for small children, and no pets allowed in tent.
Walk in Campsites - choose your own place to spend the night on the open pasture or in our forest. 1 tent per reservation. In forest tent site is small, single tent for no more than 2 people recommended. Includes use of communal area to cook, use of picnic tables, Full bathroom and access to fire pit with free wood and firestarters. We do not allow in-car camping.

Rowley River Resort

The River Resort sits on the Pilchuck River, which is located on a dead end private gravel road. Plenty of space to pitch a tent or three. In the summer months, an RV can be used down there. But there’s a long drive-way that leads to it that a RV can be used with power close by, room for additional RVs with power at additional cost but they have to stay in the drive to the river spot. There is a CLEAN custom made vault restroom for both men/women with lots of wall reading plagues for your bathroom entertainment!!! Also, an instant hot water tank for a shower for guest to use available starting mid June 2024. There are two picnic table, a propane grill, a propane fireplace for when there is a burn ban, bring your isn propane or $15.00 a night if we provide. There is a wood fire pit by the river. A covered gazebo over another wood pit is available, but it is not as private as we may be there but typically don’t if it’s damp out. (Again Gas and wood provided for an additional fee, a wheel barrel of good dry wood for $20.00). Owners live on property but you’ll have 100% privacy at River (unless you want to kick it with a couple cool people), a couple bikes for bike rides, kayaks, paddle boards, two pontoons available to rent at additional cost. Advanced notice for pontoons are available . Starting 6/1/24 there will be a yurt set up on the property. So fees may be increased. I’m going to set up another site available on the property in a different listing if you just want to bring your tent so look for the tent listing as well. You don’t have to stay in the year. You could bring your tent. If you choose to stay in the yurt and you want to bring additional. The list is for eight people on the property, if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest. We asked that any garbage you bring you take and any dog or animal droppings you clean up as well. This facility offers guided horseback trail riding at a variety of price points, as well as pony rides for younger children. They also have a petting zoo, complete with chickens, pigs, ducks, horses, rabbits, goats, and geese. They have two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under twenty-nine feet in length, and plenty of tent spots. Don’t miss this awesome location when going to or coming from Olympic!
August thru September is wild blackberry season, and the campground is surrounded by them. Feel free to pick them!
When you arrive, take the very first left (theres a metal welcome sign with a pink ribbon 🎀, not the driveway that says "no trespassing")
and follow the driveway between the two horse pastures, down and around to the lower grassy parking area where the pigs and goat pen are (sharp left to big barn).
Feel free to pet / feed produce scraps you may have to goats / pigs. You can bring treats such as carrots and apples for the horses too, but mind the teeth on all critters!
Some fences do have hot wire (electric fence) on the inside railing so please BE CAREFUL.

Between the Yurt and our home is the outdoor amphitheater with a stage & firepit. We are an active business with our small retreat center. Please note that while staying here, we may have events happening. We are also implementing an age restriction. Over 100 years ago, this property was logged of all of it's old growth conifers. Well, things have been growing here ever since. There are many old growth stumps dotted around the property; many acting as "nurse or Mother logs" to new growth. We have been here for 30 years & have select logged keeping the integrity of the property in tact. These trees know they are loved and honored. They are happy & it shows. You feel the vibe a soon as you drive up.
Since then we have blazed trails & carved out campsites & campgrounds throughout. All of them resembling nature's little carved out "rooms." We have enjoyed this property for these past 33 years. We have shared it with family & friends time & time again. There is so much love & positive energy breathing within these boundaries. I have been very fortunate to have been able to share this place.
