We have miles of hiking trails that link up to the Beaver Meadow trail network in the Vermont State Forest as well as Morristown Forest trails. Our camp has two full size beds and sleeps four people. The camp is not winterized: will protect you from wind and snow but not the cold!

There are several scenic campsites on the 150 acres, but only one will be rented each night to ensure a special experience. Wifi and power available across the brook outside the farmhouse as needed. Spend lazy days exploring the woods, reading a book in a hammock, or sunning yourself on a rock in the river Roxbury is the geographic center of Vermont - which makes it a great basecamp for adventures. Warren / Sugarbush is 20-25 minutes to the west. Montpelier is 20 minutes to the north. Randolph is 20 minutes to the south. Two brewpubs are within 15 minutes.

Our farm is conserved through Vermont Land Trust and is an active farm featuring cropland, maple sugar woods, and apple orchard.Learn more about this land:Your camp site is a flat mowed lawn next to our orchard irrigation pond. The pond is fed via solar pump which is located in the wetland cow pasture just beyond the site. The camp site is situated between 2 woods a wetland and our pick your own apple orchard. A variety of bird species can be seen and heard throughout the day and in the evening. The area is a well used animal transition zone with deer, black bear, bobcats, turkey and many others. A fire pit is available, swimming in the pond is allowed. There is a traditional 2-hole outhouse 600ft from the campsite. Power hookup for charging is available on the property as well. Fall campers will have full access to our corn maze, apples, apple cider, cider donuts, dry hard cider and hay rides. The site is 6.5 miles from the capitol of Montpelier. Our town forest featuring miles of hiking trails is located just one mile from the site. Our parking area is often used by bikers and walkers for convenient parking.

Lake Iroquois is 200 yards from the site with access to the beach and boat launch one mile down the road. Lake Champlain is 15 miles to the west from us with varied access to swimming, boating, and water sports. Bikers can enjoy dirt road rides, flow trails, single track, and endless paved roads in Hinesburg and near-by towns. Hikers can hit the hills nearby or further away. Camels Hump State Park and access to the Long Trail is just 15 miles away. Need a city fix? Burlington is also 15 miles away and offers shopping, dining, a lively waterfront, music, the arts and more. Don't want to go far away? Hinesburg village offers 6 restaurants, a brewery, music on the green, and a well stocked grocery store. We are excited to share this beautiful property with visitors. We provide the tent, cots with insulated mattress, BBQ, outhouse, and water for the outdoor kitchen and shower. For an additional fee we will also provide sleeping bag with liner and pillows for up to 4 guests. The tent has room for 4, if your group number exceeds 4 you will need to bring an additional tent and sleeping gear. We have 2 single and 1 queen size cot. To fit fit 4 the single cots will need to transition into bunk beds. There is plenty of hiking and backcountry skiing right outside the door. At the base of the driveway there is a popular river suitable for swimming, paddling and floating. We are close to multiple mountain biking trails, local restaurants, breweries and are just off the long trail.
