West features Czech Bakeries, & old town square shopping. Don’t forget mosquito spray, bedding, and drinking water. There is plenty of dead wood for fire, but you may want something to cut it into smaller pieces. Please don’t go too big or crazy with fire. Conditions can be very dry. Keep the wood burning fireplace in the tent to small fires please. Not only is Cedar Creek Reservoir one of Texas's largest lakes, but it’s one of Dallas’ prime vacation spots, dotted with lavish lakeside villas, fine dining restaurants, and country club golf courses. Spring through fall is the most popular time for camping around the lake, when the lakeside RV parks can get busy, but many stay open year-round.
