Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away. Some places to check out while you are here include Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, Granbury Historic Square, Stephenville Rodeo, Bakers Crossing River Put-In, Oakdale Plunge Pool, and BigRocks Park in Glen Rose. 1100 acres of gorgeous natural land at the headwaters of the Medina River. Crystal clear and clean spring feed water. Fourth-generation family owners. Remote camping. About 2 miles as a crow flies from Lost Maples State Park. You drive through a 13,000-acre ranch to get to us. We are at the end of a dead-end road with one way in and one way out. NO FISHING As our topo map shows we have a wide variety of terrain ranging from steep cliffs with huge views to shady canyons. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out. Please dont make your own....stay on trails. There are plenty of places to swim. When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch. Every camp spot has access to all the swimming holes except the ladder when it is booked. The main swimming holes are-- 1. Below the Green Cabin 2. I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. The stargazing here is some of the best in the world due to our very dark skies. The campground has a clean outhouse with a private shared outdoor shower. We are an adults only retreat and aim to provide you the quiet peaceful solitude with the breathtaking views you need to renew your spirit!! We are within a few miles of nearly all the local outfitters for your river trips, Jeep or ATV tours, etc. Come make memories!

Beaver’s Pond is situated in the sweetest town of Texas Honey Grove.There is a picnic table a fire pit and a bbq grill in front of the cabin & there is a gas stove, mini fridge and a water heater. There is not city water or electricity, but If you bring a power station or generator, you will have electricity. There is a water well in the cabin with a water pump. There is a wood burning stove inside. The bathroom is outside on the left side of the cabin with toilet sink and shower. There are two kayaks and a paddle board for you to use. Beware of beaver holes when walking outside of the cabin and please don’t cross the pond, it’s my neighbors property. Bring your fishing gear! Catch and release fishing 🎣allowed.

Heavily wooded acreage with goats, horses and donkeys. There is no light pollution and if there are no clouds you can see the stars very clearly. We have a ton of wild birds. Owls and Cara Cara are common. There are deer, feral hog and two resident packs of coyote. We also have ring tail cats, which are nocturnal and rare. The best seasons are October 1st thru the end of April. It gets VERY hot and dry in the summer and can just be miserable. We have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower and tub. If you are a single woman or a family with children, we don't take other bookings while you are visiting the farm. You will have the place to yourselves. The only exception being my family and I, if we are working or staying over at the farm. We should have a second bunkhouse up and running by fall of 2025. If you are tent camping, you may camp anywhere on the property but there are certain spaces that may make curious horses your roomies.

Great place for a great value. Host was very responsive, but also let us relax and do our own thing. Grounds were beautiful and kitchen had everything needed to prepare a camp meal. Great spot!

I loved the way the cabins were spaced out enough for privacy. The grounds were nice. The only recommendation I have is to have the guest that are traveling with pets pick up their pets waste. I seen plenty of pet owners walk their dogs to use the bathroom but not pick up after them. Other than that it was great

Travis was really nice and very accommodating. My daughter and granddaughter wanted to go camping but I found this place and it was a nice balance. The AC worked well and the cabins were cozy. He has canoes and a paddle boat. We started a fire in the fire pit and sat around the fire talking. We will be returning.

Paradise at Texoma gave my 18-year-old pup, Chloe (“Chlo Money”), and me a trip I’ll never forget. She was recently diagnosed with cancer, and this was our last adventure together before I have to say goodbye. We traded camping for glamping, and I truly couldn’t have picked a better place. We spent our days relaxing under the stars, eating great food, letting her enjoy the lake, and making memories I’ll carry with me forever. Thank you, Paradise at Texoma, for giving us the perfect place for one final adventure together. It meant more to me than words can express.

Overall, we had a great stay! Everything was clean and well-maintained. My babies absolutely loved the bunk beds—they were definitely a highlight of the trip. The waterfront property was beautiful, and it was just a short walk to the river, which we really enjoyed. The location was also perfect—close to a little town that has everything you might need if you forget anything, and less than an hour’s drive to Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg, making it a great home base for exploring the area. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully relaxing. It's a short drive from Austin, but you feel miles away. The minute we stepped foot on Travis's land, we felt calm and content. The blue loft was clean, fun, and funky. Kiddo took the loft bed since my creaky knees couldn't handle the ladder. The downstairs futon is good for sleeping, so we both had our own spaces. The AC was wonderfully cool which was necessary in the heat of the summer. Mornings and evenings were cool in the shade. It was nice to pick one of the various picnic spots scattered about to have breakfast tacos and coffee and in the morning. We brought our paddleboards, but it was much too windy to go on an adventure. Instead, we tied them up to the floating boathouse and and watched a few boats and jet skis having fun while rotating from swimming about to floating with the waves. The covered deck of the floating boathouse it so nice and shady and the perfect spot to get out of the sun for a bit. We had dinner at some of the awesome places that Travis recommended-- The Lighthouse on the Lake & Angel's Ice House. While out & about we got breakfast and snack supplies. All good. It was the perfect getaway!

Great location! Very close to the lake. I had a blast paddle boarding. Sunsets are amazing. Kasitas are small but comfortable with the a/c. Took my pups and I was mindful of picking up their poop and keeping them on a leash. Only wish others had done the same. Other than that a 10/10!!!

We had the best time at Lone Mound Ranch. Lana and her daughter were the best hosts and we enjoyed their farm fresh eggs for breakfast. It was our first visit to Texas and it was a great, peaceful experience. Our 3 dogs had the best time as ranchers dogs. So glad we found this gem. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to this is Paradise on Lake Texoma

We had such a wonderful stay! The grounds were beautifully maintained, the bathrooms were clean, and the cabins were so cozy and comfortable. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the patio, listening to the rain and watching the water. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely spectacular and honestly made the trip worth it all on their own. We also loved exploring the local town; everyone was incredibly welcoming, and we enjoyed some of the most delicious classic Southern meals. This place was an amazing value for the price, and we’re already looking forward to coming back very soon!
