We had such a great stay! The site was right along the creek—super peaceful and relaxing. We loved walking in the creek, cooking over the fire, and hanging out by the campfire at night. The setup was beautiful, and Barry was a wonderful, welcoming host. We can’t wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping
Easy check in. Beautiful property. I highly recommend this glamping experience to anyone. My friend and I split the Waggin Tails covered wagon and were blown away at how roomy and comfortable it was. The wood and easy start kindling that's provided was a lovely bonus. The coffee shop uses the most delicious beans. I made sure I bought a bag to bring home so my husband could taste them. I enjoyed myself so much that I bought a gift card as a Christmas gift for a family member so they can come experience this campground with their family.

Weekend Trip to Elk Valley Creekside
We cant express how stunning this property is. The pictures simply don't do it any justice. Barry and his son were wonderful hosts during our stay. They provided plenty of fire wood and water. The bed was comfortable and the tent was cozy. They did offer a heater in case we were too cold at night but we were just fine. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the creek were incredible. Saw my first bald eagle in real life! We couldn't be happier. This site has now become a tradition for us. Cant wait to visit again

Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping
Our little family stayed in one of the tents this past weekend and upon our arrival we found a spacious tent with all the amenities for an outside gathering, outdoor cooking, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a separate game room.
We were so impressed with the cleanliness, aesthetics, and personal touches that were left by the owners.
Some shout outs:
* We were given a separate heated bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet, and a personalized touch of our family name on a sign outside the door
* A gathering area or hang out after hours with a fire cauldron
* A coffee shop with specious coffee and chai lattes and reasonably priced breakfast options
* Pickleball for our kids
* Very kind and gracious hosts
We will absolutely be back and recommend this as a place to visit to our friends and family!

My dog and I had an amazing time camping on Barry’s land! We had everything we needed and Barry was thoughtful enough to bring us some spring water, which saved me from having to get in my car to restock! They also supplied us with plenty of dry wood for our campfire. The views were breathtaking! We had so much fun exploring the property and hiking through Elk Creek. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property is truly special, it accommodates a big group comfortably with plenty of space, and the outdoor kitchen is so well thought out and fully equipped. The cabin is cozy and has electricity, and the showers were spotless and easy to use. We loved the private hiking trail, picnic tables, and direct access to the beach, it made the experience feel peaceful and secluded. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into creating this space, and it shows in every detail. Jon was also responsive and warm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

Barry’s place is perfect if you like a peaceful setting, being surrounded by nature, listening to a creek, enjoying a lovely fire. Slept like a baby and woke up to a cool breeze, babbling creek and an eagle flying by. Hope to be back in the fall. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

10/10 Everything is perfect! Property and site are clean and beautiful. Lots of items included, 2 fire pits, a hammock, nice comfy bed and beautiful view of the creek. Creek was also so clean and warm. Very campers, Barry and his son are great!

Absolutely magical! We’ll be back next year - probably for several days. It’s so easy to just relax and be present there - a world apart! The game room, playset, lake, fire pits, ample firewood, and facilities were just beautifully done and soooo worth it! My kiddos cried when it was time to leave. The hot dinners and s’mores kits available for purchase were such a nice touch too. I can’t forget to mention our gracious and friendly hosts too - they made us feel so welcome!

We stayed at Jon’s amazing site with a group of six families, and we all enjoyed every second of our time there. The site is so well set and equipped with everything we needed and more! The private beach is large and beautiful, and the short hike to the beach is itself a funny adventure. We were pleasantly surprised that mosquitoes and flies seem to not even exist in the area. Fantastic weekend all over, we are definitely coming again.

We loved our stay at Barry’s place. It was so peaceful and secluded. The river was perfect. It was clean and great for the kids and dog to play in. The campsite was stocked with all our needs and there was so much wood provided! Barry and his son even brought us 5 gallons of local spring water. They were helpful in every way! We will definitely be back!

I don't think I can gather enough amazing words to describe this magical tucked away experience. Turning off the road you are met with a gate and no trespassing signs. Smile & wave to the camera up on the right and know you are safe as you lock the gate behind you. Multiple sites to park rv's will greet you as you drive towards the cabin. Two of which I noted had electric hookups. The absolute darling little cabin greets you as you notice the huge firepit surrounded by bold red Adirondack chairs. They have cups holders that even hold wine glasses! The outdoor kitchen has absolutely everything you could need to prepare delicious meals from a huge BBQ to a plug in hot plate & even a griddle. Wine opener & utensils galore await in the cute wood cabinets. The outdoor HOT shower and FLUSHABLE toilet are treasures in such a setting. There is a boardwalk that boasts AHMAZING views & you can hear the waves! Borrow the path behind the kitchen and you will poke out cliffside with a ladder & wooden planks snaking down to the waters edge. Dogs may need assistance here. WEAR CLOSED SHOES! The beach itself is 100% secluded other than the far away boats you will see. If you go past the cement block you may run into other beach walkers. Keep your eyes peeled for beautiful beachglass, I found tons! If you should feel inclined, bring a trash bag & help keep this serene place clean from the surprises that can wash up on shore. The ONLY less desirable thing was the spiders haha 100% recommend!

Total camping privacy with all amenities of glamping! lucky to be the first hip campers booking for our anniversary! Host extremely accommodating to ensure a perfect stay, inquiring about our fur babies host encouraged, instant book for us. Adorable bunkie queen size bed & 2 top sleeping areas. Breeze through windows + sound of the waves a real treat! Plenty of tenting area options throughout the property. Showers with two removable shower heads and hot water! Outhouse plumbing & clean, all equipped w motion lights. Incredible outdoor kitchen area, working fridge & sink! Underneath storage, storage container loaded from electric coil burner - tp, plenty more to offer. Option of ordering from charming town of Port Burwell just minutes drive, famous submarine tour, dog treats at ice cream parlour. Trail to private beach through forest camping, spiders exist. Insects did not bother us but recommend dog friendly bug spray for your fur babies, proceed down small vertical ladder, (helped dogs here) a rope is then provided should you need. walk down wood planks to short scramble and on your own private beach area, warm and shallow! Large fire pit, string lights give beautiful ambiance. Picnic table along bluffs boardwalk, beautiful sunset and stars. Bird watched drinking morning coffee overlooking vast Lake Erie. Will be rebooking, The host cares passionately about nature. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us, making our anniversary wonderful & stress free!! 🙏

Weekend Trip to Elk Valley Creekside
A private piece of heaven. Barry is amazing. If you want a beautiful spot to fish or just do a lil camping, this spot is perfect. We explored the huge creek and watched the bald eagles fly over all day long. Barry has this place set up perfectly. Once you see it you won't want to leave..been back twice now.. definitely going to make it a third. ❤️😁

Absolutely stunning scenery and equally as wonderful hospitality. Fantastic communication, thoughtfully stocked camp, AND they had a campfire waiting for us!
We woke up to a golden eagle soaring along the creek side, splashed & explored, and we even saw a bald eagle!
Truly a weekend of core memories.

Barry was a fantastic host and the land was beautiful. Walking around the property and watching our pup play in the creek were highlights of an amazing weekend. Saw several eagles fly down the creek, and the lightning bugs were absolutely amazing. Would love to come back again soon.

Everyone should try camping in a covered wagon at least once. This was definitely far nicer than anything I imagined. The amenities were top-notch and the people were really lovely. Even when the weather wouldn’t cooperate, we were able to play games and enjoy the setting in a covered and screened porch.

We love Barry’s land and have stayed multiple times. The eagles were flying over the river and an unbelievable amount of lightning bugs were out in the fields and in the trees. We took river tubes and were able to tube down the river a bit when the water level came down after having rained a lot the day before.
