It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night. In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. There is downhill skiing at Greek Peak 45 minutes away if you are winter campers. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes.Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Hummingbird House at Bugs in a Jar

Bugs In a Jar Farm is about 15 miles south of Ithaca, in the beautiful Finger Lakes. It is almost adjacent to the Finger Lakes Hike and Bike Trail. The land consists of 14 acres of forest and open space, with a beautiful creek and several small ponds. Hummingbird House is our original tiny house, but we have since added two more: Blue Dragon, and Piney Breezes, so please check them out if Hummingbird is booked or does not fit your needs (i.e., if you would prefer a larger bed). The space "Hummingbird House," as the name implies, is a true TINY house, measuring seven feet by seven feet indoors (with decks in front and back). Please note that the bed has a TWIN mattress, measuring 39 inches wide, so couples may be a little squeezed on the bed. Hummingbird is located just steps away from the community kitchen and bathroom. It is the only unit that has heat, and the wifi connection is rock solid. It has its own dedicated fire ring and picnic table. Do note that, due to its close proximity to the community kitchen and bathroom, it is not quite so private as the other two tiny houses. Due to its small size, Hummingbird is not the right choice for kids, but for those who want the most convenient and easiest access to all the other amenities (and parking), this would be your choice. Guest access Each tiny house listing includes access to the tiny house itself, and the area immediately surrounding it. Each comes with its own picnic table and fire ring. Guests will share a common outdoor community kitchen and the bathroom inside the host's cabin. The two tiny houses I am finishing up will also have their own outhouses, so guests can use those or the bathroom in the house. Other things to note Please note that the tiny house listed here has a TWIN mattress measuring 39 inches wide. The two other tiny houses both have a DOUBLE/FULL mattress measuring 54 inches wide.

Welcome to the lakeside campground in beautiful Windsor, New York! We are a seasonal campground open May 1st thru October 15th. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, lakeside provides spacious, Rustic campsites in a quiet, family-friendly environment. We offer these amenities and more! • Variety of wooded campsites, all with picnic tables and fire rings • Full hook-up (W/E/S) RV sites - Lakeside and Large Pull-through sites • Tent / Pop-up (W/E) sites – Lakeside and Remote (Hillside Tent Loop) • Rental Accommodations – Cabins, Rental RVs, Yurts, and Platform Tent • Fishing on private lake; no NYS license required • Swimming in Lakeside’s new in-ground pool or designated lake swim area • Basic Campground WiFi • Non-motorized boating, using personal or rental boats (kayaks, peddle boats, row boats, or canoes) • Playground, Game Room, Pool Table, and more • Laundry, Bath Facilities, and Dump Station • Camp convenience store - includes firewood bundles, ice, propane refills, fishing worms, ice cream, grocery items, and more • Activities every weekend • Hiking and Golf Nearby (under 5 miles) Nothing beats curling up in a cozy sleeping bag under the stars. At Lakeside, we honor the desires of these camping “purists”, while offering an experience that has “evolved” to meet the needs of today’s tenters. All of our rates are based on 2 persons. Additional persons are $5.00, and Children 10 years & under are free. There is no charge for pets in your own camping units. If you fish, Lakeside provides wonderful fishing. The lake includes bass, sunnies, bluegills, catfish, and perch. We have a license for the lake so you do not need an NYS license.

This sawmill is unlike any bandmill, boasting a massive 4 and a half-foot circular saw, a relic from the years between 1935 and 1945. Its rhythmic, melodic hum fills the air, blending seamlessly with the symphony of nature. The captivating noise created an enchanting ambiance, luring those in search of solace and beauty. We run our mill with recycled cooking oil and a diesel blend. Behind the sawmill, nature thrives harmoniously. Wildlife painted the surroundings with vibrant colors, as birds filled the sky with their elegant dances and curious squirrels scurried about, their fluffy tails adding a playful touch to the lush landscape. The cabin is a sanctuary where one can witness the wonders of nature, just a walk away from the roaring sawmill. Come check out a piece of preserved history all while enjoying pristine wooded views!
