Nestled on the ridgeline of the 3rd Watchung Mountain, the property sits above The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. You'll be in a neighborhood, for sure, but a quiet one with lots of room for people and pets to stretch. The property has a 3000 square foot Summer wildflower field with a cozy tent spot in the center. There is also a grand flat grass area for setting up multiple tents. A 100-foot dog trolley run spans the land so your fluffy can run and stay close, too. Numerous outdoor chairs and tables are set up in various spots to best enjoy the land. There is a fire pit and free firewood available. Use of up to two 8-foot single kayaks or a single 17-foot canoe is available. The Passaic River has a number of drop-in spots nearby and Round Valley and Spruce Run reservoirs are a short drive. Hiking trails go throughout the Great Swamp. They have a terrific education center and the famous Raptor Trust.

The most amazing experience ever!! Every little detail could not have been better! My daughter and I are still so in live with the amazing glamping experience! Top notch and we can't wait to come back again!!!!

The treehouse is on Darby's family property and tucked back into the woods. It's private & secluded!

had an amazing stay at Debbi’s treehouse The place was beautiful and had everything I needed for a perfect getaway. The jacuzzi at night was so relaxing, and the BBQ grill setup was great they even provided gas for cooking, firewood, and marshmallows for s’mores! Debbi and her family were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only thing I’d suggest is adding a small hanger or rack for clothes and jackets that would make it perfect. If you visit, make sure to stop by The Hand in Bird Bakery nearby they have the best pie I’ve ever had I’ll definitely be back again.

This was everything we were hoping for and more! Darby and her family thought of everything to make sure our stay went so smoothly. This is a great campsite for those who want to experience the outdoors, but still want be close to people / civilization as you're not too far from the main road and Darby's home. We loved all the amenities and the little details, like the smores welcome kit. This spot is also nestled perfectly between the poconos and amish country, so my partner and I did a bunch of day trips, but there is plenty of space at the campsite to relax and sit. (They have a hammock already set up)! Definitely want to come back when it gets a bit warmer, but loved the jacuzzi during the colder nights!

Brendan’s property is beautiful and private yet close to everything. The sunset was gorgeous! Driving with our 21’ trailer was easy off the main highway. We loved our stay. Brendan was an awesome host and brought us firewood and a fire pit. I totally recommend this site for relaxation and privacy.

Darby had sent the most informative information on the area and all the good spots to visit, this was extremely helpful. The treehouse was clean and cozy. I loved camping at Darby’s site, it was super clean and the tent itself was beautiful. My boyfriend and I visited for our anniversary and we loved our stay, we had a nice fan that helped SO MUCH in the hot weather and the view outside was very nice. Darby helped us with any questions and was very welcoming. We will definetly reach back out for another stay. Definitely Recommend!

Our treehouse stay was incredible! We felt welcome, relaxed, and cozy thanks to all the thoughtful touches. You really don’t have to bring anything other than food and a bathing suit to enjoy that awesome hot tub. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the property. Even when the rain came we stayed dry, cool, and cozy in the tent. Our dog was so happy there too. We can’t wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Wildflower Hill

We booked a last minute trip to Kurt’s land and he was kind enough to get the campsite ready for us on short notice! It’s in a quiet and safe area that’s centrally located to a lot of places to visit, especially if you’re interested in wildlife with it being just minutes from a National Wildlife Refuge and the raptor center. Kurt was helpful and his suggestions of places to visit were great! There is lots to explore in the area, we stayed for two nights and still have plenty of things we’d like to go back and check out! Some things we really enjoyed in the area: Great Swamp NWR, the Cross Estate Gardens/Morristown Historic Park (both free), the bagels at Craft Bagel Co, the pastries at Bakehouse in Madison.

Beautiful and cozy treehouse. We took our dogs and while it was raining during our time there, we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We also allowed our dogs to roam free in the field and they had a blast! Our host was very responsive and accommodating with some extra supplies for us.

This was truly the perfect glamping experience - all the fun of camping (and then some!) with none of the work! The property is huge - my dog had the time of his life running around (small dog owners beware of hawks). The hottub was wonderful. The giant deck was perfect. The hammock is ideal for a mid afternoon nap. Inside was spacious, clean, and cozy. The fire pit, BBQ, fridge/freezer, clean port a potty + outdoor shower gave us everything we needed for a long weekend! The extra touches, from welcome signs to s’mores ingredients were so thoughtful. The host + family (who live on the other side of the property) were also lovely! We hope to return in the fall!
