This sawmill is unlike any band mill, boasting a massive 4 and a half-foot circular saw, a relic from the years between 1935 and 1945. We run our mill with recycled cooking oil and a diesel blend.

Mulberry Acres

Small hobby farm down a dirt road. We have cows, chickens, emus, mini pigs, peacocks,  guinea fowl, quail, ducks, geese, a retired old horse,  and rabbits.  We have nature trails and a small creek on the property.  We also have kayak rentals for nearby Penn's creek upon request.

Our family campground is open, now with over 130 sites and is currently being expanded, to add more deluxe back-in and pull-thru sites! Open year round but message before booking in winter months to check for driveway conditions. The best views in the area and super dark for night star watching!  Very dog friendly, naturalist friendly and 420 friendly...  plenty of privacy to enjoy freely.  Ask bout renting the entire outdoor property (I can easily camp over 100 people).  I am minutes from Route 15 in the center of 45 acres 240 feet above the road at 1680 feet with 30 mile views. My nearest neighbors are a half mile away.  Get a 360 degree view from the lookout tower.  Plenty of room for your dogs to run. All 3 sites have elect extention cords strung to them providing 15 amp 115v electric Wood fire pits at each site with wood available for purchase.   All sites have string lights and picnic tables. There is sold ground for a small size camper or any size tent.  The lookout tower us for all to use.  

I am 25 minutes from Wellsboro PA and the Pa Grand Canyon with a 62 mile rail trail, bike and kayak rentals are 40 minutes away, one hour to Finger lakes, locally there is lots of hiking, fishing and exploring.  4 wheel drive maybe needed in winter for my driveway.

CampsiteDiscGolf @ HighHorizonsFarm

We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania.

We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by.

On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year!

We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods.

There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard.  A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife.

Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes).

We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in.

Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing.  Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular.

Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then).  During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter.  The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site.  You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day.  Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future).  We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence.  The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

This tent was previously at the site but it leaked badly so it was taken down. This gives you an idea of the size of platform.

Pine Valley Alpacas

🌲&nbsp;Pine Valley is a small alpaca farm with a nice tucked away campsite surrounded by trees and nature.&nbsp;It’s a short distance from Ricketts Glen where you can hike the trails or go up and enjoy the activities at Lake Jean. 

🦙&nbsp;There are alpacas to visit and an alpaca can be brought out of the pen for you to feed and pet. You can have a cozy campfire while you  enjoy watching the alpacas and being with nature.

Greene Kitchen Farm

Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013. &nbsp;If you step back in time&nbsp;a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run. &nbsp;The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with&nbsp;an eye toward biomimicry and&nbsp;an agro-forestal, savannah&nbsp;landscape. &nbsp;The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them. &nbsp;
Since the livestock have been fenced&nbsp;out of the creek, a little jewel of a wildlife refuge traverses the farm from northwest to southeast. &nbsp;This&nbsp;riparian zones shades the creek, protects the&nbsp;water quality, and provides great&nbsp;habitat for&nbsp;coyotes, minks, eagles, white-tailed deer, groundhogs, hawks, squirrels, woodcock, and a variety of songbirds. &nbsp;Greene Kitchen Farm&nbsp;camp sites are situated on this varied section of brook.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Learn more about this land:Bring your tent or park your pop-up along the spring at Greene Kitchen Farm. Livestock will be fenced in just in view, and the birds will serve as your alarm clock. Your site will be the last stop&nbsp;on a mowed path through the hollow nestled between the spring and the woods. &nbsp;

Spyglass Ridge Winery

The property is on 50 acres and has a winery and restaurant available. We have events all year long and host concerts that bring in over 5,000 people per event. Catch and release fishing in the pond and plenty of open space to stroll around.

 Winery and Restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday and are&nbsp;on site. Close to Knoebel's Amusement Park and Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area. Pet friendly and relaxing property

The Bear's Hiking Club Campsites

We're a primitive 4 season campground, we have great mountain views on every site , and offer a bin of wood a night for free for  weekend Camper's. We have a outdoor movie 🎥🍿 every other Saturday night at dusk weather permitting on a 120 inch open air screen, and dog's are permitted on the property with a Leash or tie out at your site . We have a clubhouse on the property with a microwave, BYOB bar and music and TV coffee ☕,tables outside of it for when you want to socialize and we have free Internet for those of you that can't live without it . 

Whitetail Summit

Remote primitive camp on your very own mountain.  30 acres of woods and mountain views with nothing but a couple trails, fire ring and surrounding wildlife.  4WD vehicles recommended, tent and primitive camping only.  No RV’s-  You wont make it.   Pack-in and pack-out.  Leave no trace. Close to FRO, AOAA, Jim Thorpe, Knobels and more. Private gated access.

Your stay in the treehouse is off–grid, thoroughly insulated and heated by a wood-burning stove, also we do supply you with a Jackery 1000 lithium battery generator to power the shower, or to charge your phone or laptop. We also use a composting toilet for the cleanest and most environmentally sensitive relationship to the surroundings.
You will learn firsthand what off–grid glamping is like…and that includes a hot-water shower.
We will supply you with bed linens, towels, bath soap, shampoo, plates, cups, utensils, at least 2 1/2 gallons of fresh drinking water, pots and pans, grill utensils, salt and pepper, paper towels, a sink and dish soap, dish towels, toilet tissue, hand sanitizer, a camping percolating coffee pot, coffee cups, a flashlight, and some firewood (for the mini wood stove—see amenity limitations).
Mobile phone service is definitely adequate for working from a tree. :-)

Camping at Cold Springs Domestead

Hello fellow campers and outdoor lovers!!!
We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs.  We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home.  The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house.  There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy.  Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area.  We are located right outside of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  Our area is home to many amazing restaurants, several breweries and cute downtown shops.
