We have heaters to keep you cozy for those chilly nights, and cool mountain breezes and fans to cool you in summer. Best of all you have your own private Hot Tub for your enjoyment! Please come prepared for inclement weather... Although heated, The Bali House has a gravel floor and is not insulated. Please Note: The bathroom and kitchenette are located a short walk away (bathrobes provided) in our Historic Barn and where the horses will keep you company. You may see us and other guests working with the horses, cleaning stalls, etc... However, the kitchenette and Barn Bathroom is for for your exclusive use. Explore private trails right from the property. And the amazing nearby waterfalls. Including Abiqua Falls just up the road, and 'The Trail of Ten Falls' at Silver Falls St. Park. The 'Bali House' and surrounding yard are private. We do live on site and are available throughout your stay, but we will not disturb you. As a working 67 acre organic farm, the property is very rural, but only an hour outside Portland, Oregon. The Farm is also conveniently located close to several towns including Mount Angle and the cool little town of Silverton, Oregon. Silverton has several excellent restaurants, great brew pubs, a seasonal farmer's market, and shopping. It is also home of The Oregon Gardens, a world class botanical garden. Crooked Finger Farms has great history. The Farm and surrounding acreage was homesteaded in the late 1850’s-1860’s. You can still pick the fruit from the original heirloom apple and pear trees! The farmhouse, historic barn and outbuildings were built as a dairy in 1915.

It is a short but very uphill hike from the parking area. When you arrive, feel free to find your way up to the cabin. You may want to pack light as it is a bit of a hike! Linens and blankets will be provided for the King size bed. The cabin is constructed from local trees we've harvested using our sawmill. This is a one of kind rustic experience. Creekside campground with showers has 4 separate sites: 1. The campground with a kitchen and hot/cold potable water and 20 amps of power. Includes 3-4 picnic tables and a covered stage area with power. This can hold 8-10 large tents comfortably. Price includes up to 10 people. Children under 12 are not counted and are free (except to their parents). 2. Tiny Creekside cabin has no power and a queen size bed with bedding and towels included. Sleeps 2 with about 120 SF (tiny) includes 150 SF covered deck. You may add tents around the cabin but must add the guests under extras so you pay for additional tents/people. No kitchen with cabin. This site has a private fire pit. 3. Creekside RV - retro trailer newer looks like a 50's diner. Has fridge, stove top, microwave, electric hot water kettle and Air Conditioning. This is a nice addition to the other sites due to the AC and fridge. RV is parked next to creek across from campground. The toilet is not connected (please use Portable toilet next to trailer). 4. A cabin in the trees 12'x20' with queen bed and all bedding included. No Kitchen in the Cabin, The cabin includes a picnic table, fire pit, hammock, and outdoor bench and chairs. No Electricity. All sites have shared access to hot showers, portable toilets, and potable water next to Outdoor kitchen and dinning area. Guests love staying with us; "Brenda's property is fantastic. We had a gathering of friends for a long weekend on this property (rented the cabin too) and had the best time. Having the creek to splash around in, warm running water for showers and washing dishes, trails to explore, and the delivery of fresh produce and eggs from the property far exceeded our expectations. Brenda is the best host - she answered all my questions quickly and was very generous with our group. Definitely recommend!"

A few years ago Chandler sold a large portion of his company and we purchased our rustic log cabin. We love the idea of sharing our peaceful cabin and property with the world! We recently decide to put our primary home on the site, to allow us to catch up on our debt. We are so thankful that both our places are loved by our guests. In addition, there is a bonus space downstairs with it own full sized day bed that stays nice and cool in the summer, but needs a little pre-heating in the winter months to be comfortable for most folks. Weekend Trip to Peace on Earth

My Husband and I loved this retreat into the woods! Our dogs had the time of their little lives. We enjoyed walks on the trails, picnics in the meadow and cozy nights in the cabin. Brian did such a good job creating this space and provided more than we expected! We will definitely be coming back. 10/10

Had a wonderful time with the wife and two dogs. There is plenty of property to explore, a shallow Creek to play in and plenty of trails for walking the dogs. I also had fun riding my onewheel on the trails.

Weekend Trip to The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Came here for the second time and I can't wait to come back for a third visit! Brent and Tabitha take great care of the bunkhouse and those of us that get to come stay there. Don't forget to grab some steaks and yummy beef snacks while you're there!

Weekend Trip to GeerCrest Farm

GeerCrest Farm is a little slice of heaven! We rented the bunkhouse for our daughter’s birthday and the girls had the best time exploring the property. So many fun things to do and lovely spots to enjoy. The hosts were very gracious and helpful - setting up badminton for the kids to play, and loaning us a camp stove so we could heat up some soup. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience and great place especially if you’re looking to escape the city for a few days! The animals and garden was pretty awesome and getting to pick eggs and eat our own green beans was super fun. The host was fantastic too. Very accommodating and friendly. 5 stars would recommend.

We absolutely loved this spot - one of our favorite stays ever! It was exceptionally quiet, clean and cozy. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property - sitting on the porch watching the sunset, listening to the crickets, and watching the friendly deer eat blackberries. The trails behind the cabin were lovely for a daytime stroll and lounging in a sunny clearing. Brian was such a friendly and welcoming host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We loved every second of our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to GeerCrest Farm

We had an amazing time at the farm. The animals were super friendly, and the hosts were there for whatever we needed. The cabin that we stayed in was really clean and cozy. We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and playing cards on the back patio. The only suggestion I can make is to have a lower wattage lightbulb in the cabin. Thank you so much for having us. We had an amazing time. I would recommend these cabins to anyone who wants a wonderful farm experience.

Weekend Trip to The "Farmer-For-A-Day" Program

My 6yo son and I had a lovely two nights on the farm! We stayed in the perfectly petite Farm Cottage, which was just the right size for us. Being surrounded by so many happy animals was a delight, and we especially enjoyed the Morning Farm Chores add-on, spending about 90 minutes helping feed and water the horses, pony, goats, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, geese, sheep, mini pig, rabbits, mini horses, and donkey. The location was great for Gorge sightseeing, and we enjoyed meals in cute downtown Troutdale (a 15min drive from the farm), easy hike at Latourell Falls, a visit up to Vista House, and brunch down at Multnomah Falls. The farm was peaceful and quiet, and a welcome retreat from city life. We highly recommend a visit or a stay there!

It's was so beautiful and secluded. We only saw 1 other person while we were there. There were motion sensor lights leading to the cabin, a good size tent space that was included, the propane fire was lovely, and it was really great that wagons were provided to take things down to the cabin. Direct water access was amazing

We enjoyed camping on Brenda's land. She is a gracious host. The cabin in nestled in the perfect amount of trees which allowed the cabin to remain a livable temperature (seeing as temperature was in the mid 90's) you can opt in for electricity and the cabin is perfect for two and a guest if you want.

My kids, my friend and her two kids stayed in the Bunkhouse. It was incredibly clean from top to bottom! The kids felt like they were in a fairy land. Beautiful woods all around the cabin, cute details and they loved visiting the ducks and sheep on the property. Jim was a kind host and very helpful! Made the whole trip smooth and fun! Would 10/10 recommend!

We loved our time here at the cabin! It's peaceful and feels secluded except for the highway noise (which is just what it is, can't help that!). I love that it is right on the river with its own private beach. There is a picnic table, grill, chairs and even a propane charcoal fireplace. Joshua the owner had thoughtful additions like a hose for dish washing, a recycling box and a can recycling spot right at he site. The walking trails are labeled and there is even a fire extinguisher at a central location between the cabin and camp spots. Its a beautiful location and you could tell it was thoughtfully planned as a camp spot. I loved having the wheel barrows to help us set up camp, too. The only cons I would say would be the highway noise and the steep walk down to the sites. It's super nice to have Porta potties by the parking spots and it makes sense to have them there to routinely clean. But it is a walk to get there lol. But there are lights along the way which is very nice. Over all a beautiful area and a relaxing trip was had! Ty, Joshua
