Wonderful place to stay! This calm, creative, and cute piece of paradise is the perfect place to stay for a while. The property is private and safe, the animals are adorable and funny, and Jerilyn was incredibly communicative and gave wonderful recommendation. I could not have asked for a better host and place to stay.

Having your own private bathroom that is code protected is nice. The bathrooms have a great set-up with plenty of hooks and places to put your things. Some people leave their stuff behind however. I was there on a rainy weekend so it was pretty quiet. I got in several walks in between rain showers and found the grounds very nice. The campsite I utilized was a bit messy due to being under trees but that's life in the forest! I was able to eat my dinner on the picnic table provided. Overall, I recommend this place. Sidney, my contact person and greeter, was fabulous! She was friendly and opened gates for me and then took me to the bathrooms and made sure I had the codes sent to me in a text. She told me to text her any time if I had any questions or problems.

We enjoyed this quiet spot with a beautiful overlook of the valley. Crystal, our host, recommended an excellent restaurant, “Mason,” in nearby Sherwood which we really enjoyed.

Weekend Trip to Homestead By Estacada Lake

What a fun little place! The campsite was spacious with a great campfire set up, a nice picnic bench and the toilet was so clean and easy to use. We took a couple of young kids and it was great to be able to have the space to ourselves so they could be kids and have fun. We added the duck eggs and the animal meet and feed and we all had so much fun! The goats were so friendly, the chickens were friendly, and the geese and ducks were so cool to be close to! We’ve definitely will be back. Karissa was very sweet and took time to make sure that we were comfortable, had what we needed, and answered all of our questions about the animals.

I loved staying here specifically for the sauna and cold plunge!!! The cold plunge is a park of the creek that is sectioned off into the perfect place to plunge. The tent was warm and the bedd were comfy. there are restaurants a 5 min drive away which is a huge plus!

What a fantastic place to stay. We were greeted at the gate by Noah, who gave us all the information we needed to have a comfortable stay. (Including where we would find an excellent dinner, just a few minutes down the road.) The tent was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Restroom and shower were a very short walk. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. The other guests were quiet and respectful. Absolutely recommend this place to others.

We didn’t want to leave! It was super cozy and fishing in the pond right outside the door, hiking the trails and hanging by the fire - all fab. And the staff is warm and welcoming. Thank you!

Shawn met me on arrival, helped me position my rv on the site and get hooked up with electricity and water. Clean, level, attractive camp site. Directions accurate and easy to follow. Beautiful property, friendly and welcoming host, would highly recommend and would book again!

3 nights at Hobby Farm

Jerilyn was a great communicator and made the check in process easy. The property was quiet at night and a restful place for us to stay while we visited family in the area. There is a water hook up and 20 amp electric. There is a septic available to use. We will definitely come back again.

It was a good experience, the tent was warm enough with a couple small space heaters to take the edge off the cool. Bathroom was clean and there was lots of hot water. It was a good experience, makes me think I might be able to do the same thing in Alaska where we live. Only will do it during the May through August time.

Of course, we expect all dog owners to keep an eye on their pets so they don't disturb other campers or ingest anything they're not supposed to. QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am. We would love to share our beautiful wooded 8 acres. We live here but your site is far enough from our house for privacy. The RV pad is surrounded by trees. Our RV space will easily park a 38ft. RV. It has full hookups with either 30 amp or 50-amp power. You are only 2 miles from shopping and only miles from Lackamas Lake and Battleground Lake for hiking, swimming, biking, boating and fishing. Down the road about 1/4 mile is Velvet Acres barn where you can buy fresh produce in July, August and September, then in October it's a Pumpkin Patch. Be sure while you’re here you visit Vancouvers waterfront downtown. Great shops and excellent places to eat. On weekends there’s a large farmers market that has all kinds of fresh produce. While here be sure to drive out to the gorge, it is one of the more breathtaking sites in the NW. We are 10 miles from the Columbia River and 36 miles from Multnomah Falls. On a nice day you can drive to the beach to cool off, it's about 90 miles to Longbeach. Being in the wetlands we have a lot of trees for privacy. The RV area is at the end of an area that is gated for security. There is a grassy area outside your door and a grassy area out back of your RV. We have trails you are welcome to use. You will see bunnies and all kinds of birds as well as deer that visit now and then. Although they have built homes on the west side the fence and trees give plenty of privacy. They recently started a home that should be done within a month. Contact me for updates. This is a perfect place if visiting the area or it’s a great place for snowbirds or workers that are in this area for weeks or months. Text me ahead for openings. There is Risley park, a great park for kids and dogs, 1 block south from this location. A small grocery and local restaurant within 1 block and major shopping center within 1 mile from this location. Downtown Portland and the popular SE Hawthorne shopping district are a 10 minute drive by car. The TriMet train station is 1 mile from this location and this train can take you into downtown Portland and to PDX airport. TriMet is an easy walk down the paved bike path from this location. Our driveway RV site is 3 blocks away from the lower Willamette River. There is excellent river access for people, motor boats, and kayaks at multiple spots, all near this RV location. There is a second great local river, the Clackamas river, which is only 3 miles away. This river has excellent white water kayaking and tubing through class 1 and class 2 rapids. A paved walking and biking trail leads you to both rivers is located within 1 block of our property. This bike trail will take you North into Downtown Portland and the river front and South to the Clackamas river and on towards Oregon City. In Oregon City you can rent kayaks and paddle to the Willamette Falls. The 2nd largest waterfall, based on water volume, in the United states.
