This was our second time staying here. We really appreciate the generous check in time (1pm) because we can drop our trailer and easily get in a hike, etc instead of losing a day. Easy access to 97 and we were left to ourselves. It’s a big area where you can easily position your equipment to maximize privacy- though we only saw 2 vehicles drive by the whole time we were there. We will be back!

We really appreciated having such a nice sized lot to ourselves. Our dogs were able to just relax outside of the van which we dont get to do often. Lovely sunsets and great access to everywhere we wanted to go.

We stayed at Susan’s place for four days and very much enjoyed it! Quiet and with lots of amenities including Porta potty, sink, grill and lovely seating area with a hammock. It was very well maintained-highly recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Casa Del lago 2 Lake Billy Chinook
Susan's place is phenomenal. It's a fantastic location right above Billy Chinook Lake. It has a sweet little cabin you can stay in and a tent site area complete with everything you could need for a weekend away. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Each area has outdoor lounging areas, propane fire pits, outdoor cooking areas complete with supplies, a lovely hot outdoor shower, and a cozy hot tub that's perfect for late night soaking and star gazing. She was the best host you could ask for, so friendly, helpful, and responsive.

This was such a beautiful and serene little place! There are multiple little areas for campers but we happened to have the place all to ourselves which is just how I’d prefer it. We had our camper but we could have shown up with nothing but our tents, blankets, clothes and food. There are camping supplies, soft lighting, comfortable outdoor furniture, a clean porta potty, clean outdoor shower (with instant hot water!), an outdoor sink with running water, shade and privacy. Even though the major Flat fire was right next to us and we lost water for a bit, it was one of my most favorite camping trips! We were right near Lake Billy Chinook & Three Rivers and a little store/gas station. Susan is the best host! She is so kind and responsive and it’s apparent she takes great pride in the look and care of this magical little place. We will definitely be back!

Just as pictured, this place has everything you need for cooking, relaxing and fun. Good communication and lots of private space. We camped and our tent fit well and didn’t get too hot even thought it was a heat wave in the high desert!

Me, my partner, and our dog really enjoyed our stay at Cabin Del Courtyard. Susan is so communicative and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of the accommodations, especially the Nexgrill, hot tub (once it cooled down at night), and the fire pit. The hosts have really thought of everything that you need and prioritize their guests privacy. We would love to stay and visit the area again.

Beautiful spot with a nice view of Smith Rock. Just a few miles from the park and completely private. I would definitely stay again! Oh and they were nice enough to let me keep my trailer there until I finished hiking. Super friendly and accommodating hosts. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely perfect. I miss it already. They have set up all the amenities, including the kitchen area, living room, area, private shower, covered area with the camp to stay out of too much sun. It’s very pleasant and just a short drive down to the upper state use area where I was able to play on Lake Billy chinook All day.

Simple, level, shaded spot to stay right off the road so there is traffic noise but it didn’t bother us. 1 mile from The Mill District.There is a historic canal trail about 150 feet from the property. Really ice trail. The dogs loved it.

Susan is a such a considerate host. . She provided many amenities to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay. (Shower, cleanest port-o-potty I’ve ever seen!, outdoor kitchen and cozy lounge area, picnic tables, etc). I was surprised at how private it felt, considering we were staying in someone’s yard! The Mountain View and surrounding parks are beautiful.

This stay exceeded any and all expectations I had. Susan truly thought of everything, and makes sure any needs you may have are met and pre meditated. The set up of the cabin is so cozy, and I love that the layout enables and encourages you to spend a lot of time outside as well. I would stay again in a heart beat.

We absolutely loved everything about our little stay including our amazing host Susan! I had mentioned my birthday being the reason for our trip, she had a birthday banner set up upon arrival! So cute & thoughtful!! The view of the mountain is incredible. The lil cabin is adorable and fully equipped with essentials such as towels, dishes pots & pans & more! Cleanest porta potty I have ever seen! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at Susan’s campsite- it was so thoughtfully set up! In addition to a tent site there was a large with a grill, couch, games, and cooking amenities that we had all to ourselves. She even brought out a mini kid pool for our 2 year old and dog! Bathroom and outdoor shower were clean. Beautiful surrounding and stargazing at night. Also only a short drive to the lake. Highly recommend!
