Mi off of i-75 a mile from route 66 an 5 miles from route 30. the old miami Erie canal runs through many towns close by, within walking distance, biking or hiking. Ohio caverns are within 45 minutes of this location. A local tavern within a mile and the best ice cream in the area within five miles, " the creamery" of Delphos. Could just stay enjoy a game of cornhole or 9-hole golf on site.

Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. Also like hot dogs. Ohio caverns are within 45 minutes of this location. A local tavern within a mile and the best ice cream in the area within five miles, " the creamery" of Delphos. Could just stay enjoy a game of cornhole or 9-hole golf on site.

Rocky Run Creek is a tributary to Seven Mile Creek in Preble County, OH Small creek near residential area. Choice of wide open spaces, partial or full shade spots available. Short walking trail along the creek line is maintained. 'Rocky Cross' Geocach nearby. Please be aware that if we have had a lot of rain, the creek side spots may be too wet and difficult to get back up the hill with the wet grass. If this is the case, we do have the gravel barn driveway that can accommodate your stay. During peak busy season, the barn drive may have additional guests due to site, weather or general camping conditions. The barn drive offers a view of the creek area about 100 feet away and is about 175 feet from the patio common area. WiFi covering the entire camp and all cellular carriers work great here. 30 Amp electrical in many spots. White tank water fill is available in select locations. Plenty of room for tow vehicle at your camp site. Pet policy: Dogs / pets are certainly welcome subject to the following: No destructive behaviors. (Digging, chewing, etc) No aggressive behaviors. (Toward anyone at any time) Please consider that other guests may be present. As of 5/1/24, a new overflow RV spot has been added with 30A electrical. A suggested route from traveling North on State Route 127 to Camp Rocky Run is to turn in Camden, OH on State Route 725 and head East to Wayne Trace Road. !! NOTE on RV types !! You must have a self contained RV with on board restroom facilities. We have no restroom facilities available. For this reason, we do not offer tent camping. !! NOTE on camp fire location !! The fire ring provided on the shared creek side patio is the only spot a camp fire, of any kind, can be built. (Sorry, but we have had too many damaged spots in the grass from the use of 'portable' fire ring units.) !! NOTE on Class A RVs with towed vehicle !! If it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the nearby barn driveway but if you are unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Both surrounded by trees and wildlife. We have two porta john toilets in a central location with a hand washing station. If weather permits all vehicles have access to both sites.
