I worked full time as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, but I just retired in May of 2024. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

The Hobbit House, as the name implies, is small and cozy and, if you really like each other, it can accommodate two. There is a double bed, a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffeemaker, and small fridge. It is supplied with dishes, silverware, cups, and there are condiments in the refrigerator. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We are a 15 min. drive to the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve that has several levels of trails ranging from inexperienced to experienced hikers. We are 5 min. away from the Carolina Horse Park, and 20 min. from Pinehurst, where there are renowned golf courses, and 15 min. away from the quaint Southern town of Southern Pines. We are also 2 hours from NC and SC beaches and 3 hours from the mountains.
