Though we are not far from the city, nature definitely is the main character around here. The waterway is brackish (salt and fresh) so there is a wide array of wildlife to enjoy. Bald eagles and heron fly over daily and we often see otters, foxes and raccoons and birds galore. Guests have access to kayaks and dock (2 story) for fishing and/or relaxing. Water views from any spot on the property. We also have two friendly dogs that would love to meet you.

Well it’s here. I’m Located in Wakefield Virginia. If you’re traveling to Virginia Beach I’m one hour away. From my farm there is a free ferry in Scotland where the ferry departs to Williamsburg just 30 minutes. At my farm I have 5 sites for tent/camping so it’s spaced appropriately apart I have 2 Rv sites totally away for their privacy and a new mini house also properly spaced away. All have a clean picnic table and a fire pit. 100 feet away you’ll find that clean bathroom, shower and a wash station for hygiene. You’ll see the love I put into this and because I love it and my prior guests love it, which means it may be right for you also. In the town of Wakefield you’ll find gas stations, dollar stores, a Value food market and if you want (to go) food we have that also. Plus it’s home to The Virginia Diner. Amenities include toilet access, a shower, trash disposal, picnic tables, and potable water. Pets are allowed, as are campfires.

Great location only 15 min off I-95. Far enough away from the city and roads to see the stars at night, close enough for easy access to all modern conveniences. Accessible by a paved road. A path is cut right through the property for ease to find your ideal camping location. You can park your vehicle off the paved road or on the property itself. There is a creek a few hundred yards into the property that's not crossable by vehicle. A vehicle can pull onto the property via the cutout road but I wouldn’t pull an RV/vehicle with a trailer onto it.

Say hello to our animals-We are home to many exotic chickens, ducks, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, mini pigs, horses and many Great Pyrenees. Guest access: Free parking right beside the unit. We have Starlink WIFI. If you require consistent internet access -please be aware-our internet can be spotty/dependent upon weather conditions that are outside of our control-we are in a rural area and we love it! However, it may not be for everyone. If you require constant connection to the internet our place is not for you. There is a plaque on the bedside table where the server name and password are written. The thermostat is located behind the bedroom door. It’s a normal, modern Carrier HVAC unit installed Oct. 2022; it’s easy to adjust temperature up or down using the two arrow buttons. If you have any trouble finding it or operating it please contact us! We will leave the place unlocked with the lights on. Please enjoy your stay!
