This was a really cool spot to crash for the night. Having an electrical plug was a bonus. Even had a light to help set up in the dark. My only regret is that we weren’t able to get there a little earlier to enjoy the fire pit. Lonnie is a great host.

Another amazing stay at Country Charm, this time, in a tent. The tent sites are SUPER quiet and secluded. Decent sized clearing with plenty of moss and flat ground. Great time, thanks Brenda!

Group trip
I had a wonderful weekend here with some friends. As soon as we arrived, we felt the amazing peaceful ambiance. We definitely enjoyed our stay and appreciated the water and other amenities included.

My wife, our dog and I loved the solitude and peace at this cabin. The property was close to amenities but still felt isolated, and the spotty cell signal was actually a big help in getting detached from the distraction of our devices/ social media etc. There was a small issue in accessing the generator but the owner was kind, responsive , understanding, and clearly wanted us to be happy so that more than made up for it. Would definitely go back.

Although it was rainy at first, we really enjoyed our stay. Lonnie was extra accommodating and greeted us shortly after we arrived. Nice little pond in the back with frogs, and a beautiful fire pit with nice chairs. Will definitely be returning here again!

Weekend Trip to What Ever Floats Your Boat
“What Ever Floats Your Boat” was exactly what my group of three needed -- no more, no less.
Space & amenities: Plenty of room, and the big circular table in the center is board‑game heaven.
Generator: Started right up every time and ran smoothly.
Heat: We never got the wall‑mounted heater to cooperate, but temps were mild so it wasn’t an issue. (A short printed guide, or darker Sharpie, would help here.)
Signage: Nearly every potentially confusing switch or valve has a handwritten label, which is great, but many are fading and a bit terse. A quick rewrite in bold marker would make them fool‑proof.
We’re still dying to know how a small yacht ended up marooned in a forest outside Ithaca, if you’ve got the story, please share it in the listing!
Bottom line: Quirky, comfortable cabin with reliable power, loads of tabletop real estate, and only minor issues that didn't impact the quality of our stay. We’d book again.

Lonnie was very kind and helpful. I stayed only for a night just passing through this time but will return as Lonnie has put a lot of effort into making this sweet space very comfortable. The area has many bird watching locations as a major migratory corridor so bring your kayak and binoculars! Space has picnic table, chairs, fire pit, 30 amp electric and a service light if you want it. Heard a few cars from road and a distant train but nothing disturbing.

What a gem of a spot! Aarons land was amazing! The fire pit is right next to the creek so when you’re sitting by the fire, you have that sound - it will relax you. Just a couple minutes walk up that creek you’ll come across a mini waterfall and what a sight to see! There were plenty of camp chairs inside and pleasantly surprised to find everything else you’d pretty much need to camp/cook, minus the food. But 9minute drive back to town has a grocery store/gas station/pizzeria/dollar general all next to each other. If you want a spot to camp away from society, this is the perfect spot. I’m already planning to come back and I honestly cannot wait!
