Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you! Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond! Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

Hay fields in front of you with woods behind you, you'll have peace and quiet in total seclusion but are only 5 minutes from downtown historic Greenwich village with diners and shops and a CVS. (The “Stewarts” gas station and market has firewood bundles!) Camping locations have no amenities but are cleared with mowed grass and have fire-pits. Pitch tent or bring RV, you'll enjoy yourself and the wildlife around you. Site 1 and 2 are adjacent to woods, site 3 is a wide-open-field site (great RV site) with the best panoramic and sunset view. There is camp wood for fires in various spots on the property (40 acres) that campers are welcome to but you might want to bring some of your own as well. Also, the coded entrance gate will be open for your reservation date so no additional call is required. UPDATE...driveway regraded for easier access for all vehicles now.
