It is run as a small non-profit animal sanctuary and is home to rescued chickens, goats, and pigs, as well as two humans and their dog and cat companions. The main property is fenced in, with a large back field great for tent camping, and an orchard to explore that can also double as hammock camping. There is parking for cars and bikes. We try to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible, and encourage our guests to compost, recycle, and dispose of waste accordingly. Please note we have dogs, including a Livestock Guardian Dog that does bark to alert us of new people and warn off would be predators. The river will have to be accessed by foot from a cart path and would be tent camping only there. there are landmark sticks leading to Judd Brook and more leading all the way to Jeremy River it's a mile hike to Jeremy River. there's an old campsite there but you have to walk to get there not accessible by vehicle. Bring your bicycles and ride the scenic Airline Trail access trail from Old Hartford Rd entrance. Enjoy stunning sunsets and starlit nights. Gravel pit and quarry is strictly off limits. Do not enter that area or you will be asked to leave.
