Check out our map and enjoy our spacious yet secluded campsites and our new off-grid double shower shack with hot and cold water on demand. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and is located near Catamount Ski Resort, Bash Bish Falls, Taconic State Park, Hudson NY, and Great Barrington, MA. If you plan on bringing a pet please be sure to add that fee to your booking under "extras" ($25) If you have additional guest(s) that would like to join you that fee is ($25 a night per person) and you will need to message us about how to arrange that. We have extra easy pop-up two-person tents available to rent ($15 for two nights) you can also find that option under "extras" along with bundles of firewood ($15)

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. Willow Hill Farm is a family-run working horse farm. We train , teach, board horses, and run a day camp. We had a resident camp for 40 years. We have mountains in our backyard and the Au Sable River with world class fishing bordering our meadow for a half mile. Great swimming there, also! We are 45 minutes from Lake Placid and 30 minutes from Plattsburgh. Montreal and Burlington, VT are a 1.5 hour drive. Lake Champlain is 15 minutes away. Hiking, boating, and swimming are all close, and riding lessons are available on the farm. Most hip camp sites are where resident campers stayed. There are two sleeping cabins with many bunks. Each has two small rooms where a counselor slept and one large room. There are screened windows with shutters on all sides and screen doors without locks on each end. There are electrical outlets and over head lights in the cabins. We have plans to improve the cabins. Past the cabins is the Green with 4 loose stone firepits. Across from the cabins is the shower house with four hot showers, sink, and toilets. Showers and toilets have closed stalls. Currently, the water system is above ground and will not work in freezing temps. We have installed an outhouse for year round use. All water is from our excellent well. On each side of the former(closed) dining are spots. There are electrical outlets on the outside of the dining hall. People with campers may like to park in the riding arena near the barnyard. There are outlets, but no toilets. Good water is available from the barns. Lovely views of sky and mountains! We also have a beautiful 50 acre field with an outlet, but no well. Stony Rose Farms is located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley. Our area has a rich farming heritage and our land was once part of a much larger farm. We purchased the land in February of 2020 and have created our own off grid paradise full of chickens, flowers, bees and lots of different types of plants. We are NOT a commercial campground, we are a working farm that offers Agrotourism stays and experiences. Our hens and roosters play an important role in the sustainable agricultural practices we use on the farm. Our lovely ladies provide us with delicious and colorful eggs each day. Your breakfast at the farm can't get any fresher... sunny side up eggs dripping yolk onto fresh local bread, fresh melons and berries still warm from the sun, sweet honey and local milk in your coffee. A true farm to table meal is possible year round in our beautiful valley! Most weekends we offer a breakfast basket filled with goodies produced on our farm or by other local growers. The back of our property is also wooded. If you are quiet you are certain to see birds, squirrels, chipmunks, turkey and deer as you walk along the creek and explore the mossy rocks and tiny waterfalls. If you follow the marked bushwack trail you'll be guided over fallen trees and through breaks in historic stone walls, then across the creek and up the hill you will come out onto the O&W Rail Trail. This 27 mile trail is perfect for hiking, biking and strolling. In some segments it is smoothly paved and others it is gravel. From this trail you can access multiple parks, libraries and museums if you are looking for a long hike or ride. We are centrally located between Kingston, Kerhonkson, Woodstock and New Paltz and all are about a scenic 20 minutes drive. The NYS Thruway is less than 10 minutes away if you are traveling through. The Rondout Valley is home to multiple breweries, amazing restaurants, luxurious spas, places to kayak, fish, swim, rock climb... or you could spend your entire visit at the farm reading a good book and enjoying beautiful sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: -We are a working farm that uses sustainable organic methods. -There are bugs (ants, ticks, bees, mosquitos, etc) -We keep the grass at the campsites short but you will have long grass around you. That long grass is home to numerous kinds of birds that only live in that type of habitat. - Poison ivy is also possible when out in nature, we do NOT spray any chemicals on ANY of our land. -The sites are within earshot to the chicken coops, we DO have roosters and you WILL hear them. -There are wild animals around the farm. You should store away all food and garbage when you are not at the campsite. We would like to keep them cautious of humans and not a nuisance! -On holiday weekends we do have a minimum night stay.

There are electrical outlets and over head lights in the cabins. We have plans to improve the cabins. Past the cabins is the Green with 4 loose stone firepits. Across from the cabins is the shower house with four hot showers, sink, and toilets. Showers and toilets have closed stalls. Currently, the water system is above ground and will not work in freezing temps. We have installed an outhouse for year round use. All water is from our excellent well. On each side of the former(closed) dining are spots. There are electrical outlets on the outside of the dining hall. People with campers may like to park in the riding arena near the barnyard. There are outlets, but no toilets. Good water is available from the barns. Lovely views of sky and mountains! We also have a beautiful 50 acre field with an outlet, but no well. There is an outhouse there. Excellent sky viewing here. This is where we jump and train our horses. Horses may be turned out in this field. is

The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you! Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond! Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. New York City & Long Island
