Tupper Lake is part of the tri-lake region in the Adirondacks including Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Lake Placid being home to the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympics.

Conveniently located just seven miles from Middlebury, our campsite strikes the perfect balance between enjoying the vibrant activities of the bustling college town and immersing oneself in the serene ambiance of Robert Frost country. This area holds a special place in the renowned poet's heart, as he spent 39 summers residing near the Breadloaf Campus. Nature enthusiasts will delight in our campsite's proximity to the trail system of the Green Mountain National Forest, offering a wealth of opportunities for biking, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Rikert Ski Touring Center and Middlebury College Snow Bowl are also conveniently situated nearby, ensuring easy access to exceptional winter sports facilities. The only showers and full baths available are within the inn's guest rooms. If a room is not occupied, we can offer you the use of its bathroom for a flat fee of $50, regardless of the number of days you use it. This fee covers the cost of our housekeeping team giving it a thorough cleaning before the next guest's arrival. Our property is located in Wakonda Family Campground. Our site is B15 and is located in a wooded area where you can have a tent or small trailer. The campsite has water and electric hook-up and fire wood with an outdoor fire pit. The campground has two private beaches for swimming. That same pond is open to fishing and paddle boating. There are bath houses throughout the campground and the closest one to the camp site is a 1 minute walk. The bath houses include 1 shower, two sinks, and 3 toilet stalls all are which are very clean and maintained very well by the campground. The campground also has a playground, basketball court, pickleball/tennis court, sand volleyball court, fenced-in dog park, and camp store with souvenirs. Nearby Activities include: - Town of Lake George (25 mins) - Paradox Brewery (30 mins) - Xtreme Adirondack Zip Lining (20 mins) - Town of Schroon Lake (15 mins) - Town of Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain (1 hr.) with plenty of hiking trails - Plenty of outstanding nearby restaurants!

Bridgeview Harbour Marina

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers in addition to camping and an on-site cafe. Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year. The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property. From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week. Ubuntu- Views of the Long Trail

We are excited to begin sharing this magical place called Ubuntu. Out first step in opening up is to rent our RV site out. The majestic views will take your break away. Learn more about this land: You will be staying at Ubuntu at our RV pad.  Full hookups 30/50 amp and an outdoor shower and composting toilet.  We are located at the end of a private road off of Scenic RT 17, 4.8 mi off 116. We have opened a tent site on a platform in Gratitude Grove Please note we have 3 dogs, all friendly and love people and animals onsite. They are always accompanied by one of us so will not be a bother. Just a heads up in case animals are not your thing. We have added chickens to our homestead and grown our garden landscape over the past couple of years and looking forward to sharing fresh eggs and in season veggies during your visit.

The facilities and services available at Camp Mountaineer make this a great choice for your family or groups’ adventure. Camp Mountaineer is owned and operated by the Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America headquartered in Rochester, NY. First opened as a Scout camp in 1953, Mountaineer now serves as a campground equipped to suit your group’s needs. Any group can make a reservation. Our 2024 Rental Season runs June 29-August 3

It's a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. We're in close proximity to copious hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing on the Au Sable river, 'the flume' swimming hole, pubs and restaurants, and nearby Adirondack towns including Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Keene.  Aside from the lean-to located in the back corner of the property, there is access to electricity and water, a fire pit and outdoor seating.
