    Welcome to Trails Head Cabin! Fully renovated a couple of years ago, this quaint and rustic cabin has reclaimed barn wood doors and accent walls hand built by my husband, Rich. The cabin is located on a quiet dead end road, this cabin sits at the head of the Neversink River unique area and offers activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting. There are a variety of bars and restaurants located in the small town of Rock Hill, as well as our local Farmer's Market every Saturday only during the summer months. The cabin is a short trip away from the local grocery store, a five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: Please respect our non-smoking policy. There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests. The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the WiFi you should have capability to call and text.     Can't wait to go back! The grounds were great and well labeled. Accurate description of the site. There is a dirt road leading to the site. Our host greeted us and explained the trails on the property. We did the waterfall hike and pond, we saw a river otter. The host was so friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Our dog loved all the smells of the woods.

    Excellent location for its proximity to busy areas of NJ and NY. One hour drive from when I live in central NJ and had a great night camping. The grounds were taken care of and there are great short trails to walk. Even a nice stream with a small waterfall.

    Paradise Valley is a great spot to get away, without having to drive for hours. You are in the woods enjoying nature and beautiful surroundings, but not too far from the outside world, if you need anything. All of the sites are level for at least 2 tents and each is unique. Kathleen is a fantastic host. Accomodating and always available to answer any questions you might have. #devitoapproved

    The campsite is about 2 miles off road. Sedans, go slow! The campsites are huge. Very spacious & plenty of tree if you decide to Hammock camp. Owner Kathleen is super friendy. Shes very helpful & l will make.you feel at home. If you're thinking of Hot tenting, this place is it. Kathleen allows it. Very happy with this Campground.

    I stayed when everything was frozen and the ground covered in Snow/Ice so did not get to see much, but was greeted as soon as I pulled in and was offered any site as I was the only one camping that night. It was semi-secluded, with a great little Irish pub down the road a bit. They also have a good supply of firewood available.

    Perfect cozy cabin for a weekend getaway!! The instructions on how to get there were very clear. Everything was clean and ready for us. Fresh folded towels for the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, and anything you would have in a kitchen back home! We had fun with the puzzle and mancala by the fire when the snow was too much to hike in. We even saw some animal tracks coming right up to the door at night! The back of the property was so peaceful to hike and the frozen waterfalls were beautiful. Kat was so responsive when we had a problem and came right over to help us out! My only regret is not staying long enough!! We will definitely be back!! 10/10 host and cabin🖤🖤

    We had an excellent time staying at Bell’s Cabin. David was a great host and the property is beautiful. We are already talking about when we can visit again. Our trip was very relaxed, playing board games and enjoying the cabin fireplace. The full kitchen was clean and well-stocked with equipment. The cabin was very comfortable, with multiple nice beds and a very nice bathroom. It’s clear that the property is well-taken care of. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxed and comfortable time in the woods.

    Our stay at Paradise Valley Homestead with Kathleen, was wonderful. Sites were neat, an old fashioned outhouse that was very clean, and all the nature one could ask for. We drove into NYC, took about an hour and 15 minutes.....that was all the way into the port of authority. Super easy! Highly recommend

    Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

    The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Its audio system delivers the sound on the inside and out for a campfire mood that can't be beaten. Our Property is 16 acres with direct access to state land and the Monguap River with hundreds of acres of woods for you to explore. The river is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that can only be explained by experience. Wildlife can be seen and heard all around you. Make sure you download a bird identifier app! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E. Flat top grill, single burner and stainless grated grill all powered by propane, Cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for glamping, this is your place. We are always adding new features built from the sawmill operations of our homestead. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you. Feel free to reach out with any special requests; we enjoy a challenge! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road.     Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.
